After a bit of porting and modding we have new soft power menu..(Lanback) that does not need root!
Still got a few design changes to try though, as I want this to slide out like TVsettings and only showing the black part!

I been trying to add an ir remote by copying over the remote.conf but remote won't work ... it worked on gt1 older 7.1.2 firmware .... can someone tell me a fix ?

Got it sliding out like TVsettings but need to learn how to theme GuidedStepFragment to make the grey transparent..

How to check memory status and clean system and applications? I cannot find anything like Clean Master in Play Store, any alternative?

This is android TV its what the shield TV and nexus player run, so its a bit different to stock.

multitasking = double press home button
action bar/notification bar = just not part of ATV
How to check memory status and clean system and applications = bad habit, honestly. but apps can be killed via multitasking if they crash
How to set on the weather widget = Lclock app in app draw, use openweather as source make sure location is on (wifi/network)

if someone knows how to de-compile dtb on windows i might be fix it, but I'm not installing linux again

I'm tempted to just write one, including the feature to compare two dtbs (abstracting the handles).

For me, V8 is better than V6 (no more freeze after long time without been used).
I paired again my remote after the update to V8.

The only trouble is that my remote is not able to power on the TV after a long time without been used.
So I use my stock TV remote to do it and after everything is done with my Rii Mini, even power on or off the TV

Not yet will have a look soon, however i use this on ATV for google pics. its great i even got the paid version, can have them show on back drop as well

Hi! Amazing job at V8. I got a question about unroot. Can in unroot with supersu? Should I be worried when it asked me to get the factory boot image? What should I do! I would like to install Magisk! Thanks

I couldn't root with Magisk, but was successful with Super SU. From the reboot menu chose recovery, and flash latest SU.

Thanks. But I think the rom is already rooted and I haven’t flashed the supersu in TWRP. Thats why when I try to flash magisk I get ERROR:1. My question is if I have to unroot it first with supersu, and then I can root it again with Magisk. And also I would like to know how I have to unroot it with supersu? Thanks everyone

Flash this file UPDATE-unSU.zip using TWRP recovery, then flash your Magisk.
