I reckon you have the same problem that I had. You need to create a custom keylayout for your remote. tillaz87 posted a solution few posts above..

thanks for the reply. i do have the original remote but had the minix neo lying around and used it instead. so with the original remote everything should work fine right?

I have tried both yahoo and openweather but yahoo let me set my city while openweather not. Both doesn't show meteo on home screen widget... I'll try to delete cache of the app and see

Yes, leanback keyboard won't work with air mouse remote as they have the select button set to enter so need to make a keylayout for it and change it

Just tried it, same result. I had cleared cache/dalvik cache too post flashing.

Also, I somehow feel this has got something to do with the screen rotation functionality which has been removed in your versions. Do you have the files from 707NO that I can directly replace/add after your patch to regain this functionality?

I tried to use Amlogic Rom Customization tool to unpack 707NO for extracting screen-rotation related files, but it is giving me some weird JDK error.

The rotation entry was added by me as beelink removed it in nougat, it was just an apk, I removed it when found how to lock rotation via build.prop

The TV version of prime from shield wont work as it uses PlayReady DRM
looking a standard apk now

I can provide a universal quick and easy (lazy) fix as a zip for all these air mouse if some people don't feel up to making them for their remotes.
The trade off is the enter key on a physical keyboard will be DPAD_CENTER

in the generic.kl i would simply change

key 28 ENTER

to

key 28 DPAD_CENTER

its the only real time efficient way i can help other than the guide. I will link both in OP

So, the standard prime video apk wont work on any android TV as its broke when tv_core_hardware.xml is used
The stock ROM has a tablet config which uses tablet_core_hardware.xml

I've used Amazon prime video with magendanz rom or with your V6, I'm sure... probably with magendanz Android TV. It's the first app i tried and i watched a small part of a tv series

I will test his rom but from the logcat error and seeing what brakes I would be surprised as every ATV devices has to use tv_core_hardware.xml

are you using a modded apk or something? I used latest version from market.
