Unfortunately, I got a message upon launch that says -

Your Amazon account is set to a country where Amazon Video App for Android isn't supported.

This is strange as I am viewing Amazon Video content using their app on the Playstore.
          Cheers,

If you want to use this application which is not allowed without your country, I think it will be necessary to install a vpn

Well, I think we are digressing here. The actual issue may be a little different in this case. It is definitely not a country thing as I have a valid Prime Video subscription for my country.

I tried the following steps to troubleshoot my issue:
              - Tried Amazon Video on https://www.primevideo.com in my browser on my Mac : IT WORKED!
              - I installed Firefox browser on V8 and tried https://www.primevideo.com : The login was successful. When I selected ay played a video, it redirected me to TV Playstore where it made me download 'Amazon Prime Video App' which got launched (It installed the phone version of the app, as there was no Leanback launcher icon).
              - When I launched the Prime Video app, it asked me to login to my account, which was successful.
              - When I selected and launched a video, the app crashed again, asking me to submit feedback to google. ( No country error with this app).

              Cheers,

I have added the recovery option to the restart option in settings/about. You long hold "restart" to get the recovery option.

This is useful for people who use their tv remote to turn on/off and/or use mouse to control the box (cec) as these people can't access the power menu with their tv remote or mouse. plus its kind of hidden from the less advanced users.

Oooh! I like it! That's a very elegant solution! You just have to give up the default behavior, which is to reboot into safe mode.

Is there a flash file ?

                      edit:
my box does not want to connect to the internet by ethernet.
the cable is ok but no connection.
I reboot the box from my operator but nothing

the ethernet cable is no longer detected upon insertion
                      _______________________________________________

after several startup, everything is ok !!!

or may come to the problem?

Yes. I have been flashing all the stock releases with SD Card method only, as I don't have access to a Windows Machine.

                            Cheers,

I search the file 'gxm_q200_3g.dtb' for network connection for the GT1, but the city is the ultimate GT1
