Just installed it. Installed stock 7.1.2 followed by this version (V5). Also, installed SuperSu. The 'orientation' setting is crashing. Pls. have a look.

Ah yeah that's no longer needed now, I must of forgot to remove code from droid settings for it.

Well, I have some android apps that open in Portrait mode by default. I used the ‘orientation’ setting to force landscape mode earlier.

Also, the portrait mode is required as well since I need to choose certain settings on the app during initial setup, buttons for which overlap with other buttons in the landscape mode. For example, the SKIP button overlaps with the Facebook Login button in landscape mode.

I used ‘portrait mode’ orientation setting to launch these apps for the first launch and later switched to landscape mode. I can’t do that switch now and the app runs in portrait mode forever.

So, please bring back this setting. It will be a great help.

By default android TV supports chromecast but we have not been able to get that working yet because of DRM.

To test miracast you would need to sideload an app like "Allcast" as the native setting is not part of TVsettings

And the standard settings.apk which has the native option for miracast is broke on all ATV at the moment because of the changes to action bar that it enforces.

Ideally amlogic should merge the changes from lineageOS for action bar in their SDK for settings to be supported properly on ATV.

Or I merge them them in AOSP and then port to this but the porting is so time consuming and tedious I can't see me doing it anytime soon.

Plus everything it offers can be used via external apps from market.

Give Allcast a try and let me know.

AirScreen is another option this can be directly downloaded from play store on ATV

I have a gt1 32gb with ap6255 wifichip. I first installed latetst firmware from beelink (704). It boots normally . After first start of the beelink firmware I started your script with V5. The script starts running (step 1 to 6) and my tvbox reboots.. I do get the beelink screen and after that the please wait screen. I've waited more than half an hour but nothing changes (still please wait). I've started the whole procedure again but with the same result. Any Idea what I'm doing wrong.? BTW I do notice that one of the last Actions of your script gives An error Just before the reboot.

You should see a google screen on reboot after running the script,
if you see beelink screen it sounds like it didn't install the zip. are you sure its on internal storage while running script?

Ok installed. I've copied an earlier script (1) that is why installation went wrong.. Downloaded new version and installation went well. Thanks for this wonderful rom.

Yes, works with all variants as long as running 7.1.2

Full settings is not supported in android tv with out building it with changes to action bar
Similar thing for play store as this is ATV it uses googles tv variant, so you would need to sideload apps that are not it.
