I have a SEC701 B041 KLMAG1JENB S558Z034 chip.
I don't understand why few weeks ago I was able to install 20170825 TV Stock package (I don't know which version of oem was initially installed). And now by readind the full thread I understand it's dangerous to install 20171001 update.
Why? That was ok the 1st time but this will broke my box if I install the last TVStock package?

Hi, great rom overall, however I'm having one strange issue. After each boot/restart/wake up during "preparing recomendations" message language keeps getting changed to korean so I need to reset it to polish.
First time it happened during initial setup, when choosing Wi-Fi network.
I'm currently running on latest version installed via OTA on stock rom from August 15th.

Second, unrelated issue. Can anyone recommend good airmouse keyboard remote with built in microphone working with Android TV rom on this box?

SEC 701 is a Warning - 0829 OEM FW as well is a pretty definite STOP as to going forward regardless.

You may well have a good SEC 701 - The warning is to test with an OEM Update first and then, if OK, carry on with whatever you may wish to experiment with (at your own risk of course).

How do u open this box, from pictures I see it opens from top and there is no screws on top ?

Guest yeah, sadly it seems to be the case. It may be good to set a warning on first post so others could learn from my experience.

But at the same time, being my box in a very likely bad branch(SEC 652 with 20170829 firmware), i wonder if flashing the 20170919 firmware with the option of Force Erase All can fix the eMMC issues at the cost of wiping the Widewine Keys.

I think you're the only person who has been able to get a SEC 652/20170829 firmware combo flashed and upgraded to the ATV ROM. I've tried the OEM 20170815 and 20170919 firmwares using both the SD card method and the USB Burning Tool with all permutations of erase/force erase/erase bootloader (except wiping the keys) and nothing has worked.

One curious thing on my box is that neither the 20170815 nor 20170919 firmwares ever flash past the 15% mark, but Magendanz' version of the 20170829 ROM almost always makes it up to 98% before failing. I'm strongly suspecting that the OEM 20170829 will flash on the 20170829 boxes but Mecool isn't going to release it into the wild because it would probably brick way more boxes than it will successfully flash on. I really can't see any other reason that Mecool wouldn't release it.

I installed Magendanz ATV ROM without problems from Update app as local update. Everything work just fine, except on YouTube app my airmouse don´t work. Precisely OK button don´t work. Can confirm any video with OK button. I got MX3 airmouse. With Mecool remote work just fine. Any suggestions?

My Rii with YT - You have to use direction keys to move focus, then ENTER (OK?) to activate selection

Direction keys works, but OK button does nothing. I don´t have Enter button. On Stock ROM everything works fine. Google Play Store and other apps works OK on ATV ROM.

What about the Enter Key on the KBD side ? Just guessing as I don't have an MX3.

I appreciate any help. Anyway KBD side is not a solution because of gyroscope which is move around on flipping airmouse. This is not precise action which I need.

Guest Yesterday I noticed that my Mecool with Kingston memory has Amlogic S912 (firmware 14.09). Earlier I don't saw this (I think I have S905x). But your ROM works very well with my box (I have been using it for 2 weeks and no freezing).

That's a typo error on a label (probably) - CPU-Z etc. will show an S905x
