Hi Guest , can you tell me how to pull an APK from the Android TV version ? I have tried to connect it to my computer with the Male to Male USB Cable and later use ADB Pull, but the terminal does not recognizes it.

I have used on linux the command "lsusb" and see if i can create the 51.android rules, but nothing shows. I tried on Windows, but the command ADB Devices does not see it.

The APK is one for the latinamerica market, you can not download it from the PlayStore cause it always download the mobile version of the APK, not the Android TV version, it needs to be pulled from the device

Easiest way is to just use TWRP's File Manager to copy it to an SD card or flash drive.

Just to add some info... to boot into TWRP, install Reboot Manager app from Play Store... I've flashed mine with TWRP and it's working good (mine doesn't have the reset button).

Has anyone benchmarked running Kodi app within Guest ATV versus running LIBRELEC ? Do we really need to dual boot if we heavily use Kodi addons?

I had one of the bad batch and tried to get another one. So now I got one with the kingston memory. I could flash everything but wanted to try the atv rom. To do this I wiped everything in TWRP (stupid, I know) and now I can't get into TWRP or something else. The only thing I see is the NEXUS boot screen and after a few minutes the device is shutting down.
I don't have a reset switch and tried the Nand Mask ROM flash method but nothing happens if I shorten the pins. Now I'm not able to flash some image with the sd card method or the usb burning method. Is there no possibility to let my computer recognize the m8 pro+?

Ouch! The Mask ROM reset should only be used as a last resort. If you can boot to TWRP, you can recover and you can always flash using the burn package with USB Burning Tool.

If you don't have a male-to-male Type A USB cable, you can remove the environment checks from updater-script.

No, I just installed the rom and the file with the correct tree. I need to do anything else? And how do you do it? Tks for your help.

Simply copy them to the root (main folder) of the SD/USB disk.

Thanks for your comment! I know that it should be the last resort but there was no other way. So now...I have to say: fortunately (or unfortunately) I got it working again. But I don't know why. I tested everything, even to shorten the reset pins. Then I had one more idea: A vm with windows 7 insted of my local windows 10. I installed the usb burning tool and only connected the device without doing anything more. As soon as I connected the device to the vm I heard the windows sound and the led flashes red. The first flash canceled but the second one succeded. Now I have a working atv box. Thanks for this perfect rom Magendanz!
All in all I'm pretty sure it was a driver issue. But my old (bad batch) one was recognized by windows 10. I really don't know...

Maybe I did not explain myself well, I can not connect to a wifi network with libreelec only by network cable, some solution to this problem.
