No I did the OTA update, I don't know how can I do the USB burning method. And yes, I read this and my mecool don't be part of them... I didn't have any problems with my box, excepted what i've said

That is a very strange problem. Does Kodi and other apps work OK? Does your box have the reset button?

Yes! Kodi, mxplayer, youtube... all of them work ok, just netflix and drminfo has this problems. I found this: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...m-info-problem , is basicly my problem, one of the comments says "The solution was to flash a rom using Amlogic USB Burning Tool.", you know if this can fix it? About reset button, I din't open my mecool, i don't know how do that btw. Thank you one more time, Clark!!

Hello! I am trying to do a usb flash rom, my box don't have the reset button but I opened up and found some holes where suposed to be the reset button, so I put a paper clip on that and when my box is on and I put the paper clip appears a massage like "You wanna reset or turn it off" So, that means that I found the reset button? Other question, my pc don't reconize my box, how you guys do that? What I'm doing is: Put the paper clip on "reset button" and after that i put a male to male usb in my box and computer, is that alright? Please help me!

Yes, I believe you found the correct location of the reset button. Your procedure is correct. I found out that the USB ports on my computer did not have enough power to make the box connect to my computer. I use a powered USB hub. Others have reported that they power their box using the box's power plug then following this procedure.

I tried with the plug box connected, my pc recognize the box but this error happens Erase bootloader/Lowper/Identify/ Error result

Need to add power adapter before flashing, or custom make a .5 meter USB cable.

Hello! I finaly flash with the Usb Burning Tool and all the problems has fixed, I'm going to say the steps I has to do: I opened my box, put a papper clip where the reset button suposed to be in the minor holes, conected the energy plug and put the male to male cable with my computer and the Usb burning tool recognized them, all the steps you guys can see in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N27pAxtcDSg&t=3s . Glad you got it working. But more importantly, you NOW KNOW how to do it. You can use this procedure to swap different firmwares that are made for your box.

I want to share with you my little experience
with
COOLEME CM-MM1 Amlogic S905W 2GB RAM 16GB ROM
without reset button
The firmware works (img)
I use usb tools
as you know no reset button to switch to downlead mode
so I open the box
with a cable I connect the two + and - as in the photo
stay that way and connect the usb cable and power
stay a bit
and connect ... Sart and that flash x
I did not try the sd card but must work

Since i updated to the last firmware, i fixed the youtube issue, but for now i can't have netflix with 5.1 soudtracks. Did someone experience the same ? I will try to find a way to solve this. If someone have a solution, please, tell me !

[edit] In fact, all soundtrack other than 2.0 can't be played. Audio configuration is setup for "HDMI Raw" like before and it was working so well before the ROM update.

A couple of nights ago I tried to watch some videos on youtube but the app froze.
I uninstalled the updates and started working like a charm.
I'm still running the 20171216 firmware.

I would really like to update to the new firmware but I don't know how to do that.
Can someone please explain me how to flash the new update? And also, can someone tell me how to install a recovery ROM and/or to get access to that?

Copy the update to the internal SD card. Use update backup app, select the update and check backup and clear cache, and apply update. The system will reboot into twrp and dachshund the update after it does a backup.

Same here in the new build, I can flash before build and run fine 5.1 in Netflix and Kodi.

Please Guest, is possibled fixed? The new build is very stable to box bad batch eMMC.
