Anyone get frameskips once in a while in the playstore version of youtube with 1080p/60fps videos?

I'm using the stock firmware, dated 2.27 I think. Other than that, and the fact that the enter key doesn't work on the physical keyboard, the software is fairly stable. Don't know if it's worth flashing to a different ROM.

Find your recovery img from the two zips I have attached on previous page. There is another way to boot into recovery, if you will need, I will post here.

Always worth flashing different rom. But there is a golden rule. If it works for you, dont mess with it.
And we dont get frame skips on youtube.

The link is not working for me, my government has blocked such sites. if it says v311 then its indeed the latter. Apart from these two there is a people's firmware from sasvlad too but its launcher is in russian though we can change that.

said that link is not working for me, I was talking about this dailyuploads link. The website whose link you gave me earlier, works for me. Such uploading website links are blocked in my country.

But if its the same, then I dont need to use that link. I wonder if that you you guy got into the twrp recovery

Try this. Install this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...dterm&hl=en_IN from playstore.
Open it. There will be either of two things

1. If you see $ sign, type: ADB REBOOT RECOVERY. Hit enter. You will boot into recovery.
2. If you see # sign, type: REBOOT RECOVERY. Hit enter. You will boot into recovery.

If you see a blue color recovery with twrp logo, then you have it installed already and you can make your backup. If you have stock recovery, we shall continue from there. Do this and report please.

The first one is very stable, the second one is from x96 but working good till now. mouse is extra responsive on x96 firmware.

You can follow that thread it has good support for our box

The mouse is extra responsive because the pointer speed is set to around 3/4 of the slider by default on this firmware. Usually it's set to half. This setting is found under system -> language/input -> pointer speed.

I flashed to this firmware late last night and have been using it for most of today. It is stable, but I'm experiencing the same frame skips in youtube the odd time that I was experiencing in the firmware that came with my box, dated 2.27.19. It doesn't happen that often but it is a bit annoying. The good news is that this box has a working enter key, something that was bugged on the other firmware.

I also still can't drag and drop items in certain situations. Nova launcher is completely locked. Evie I can at least drag and drop app shortcuts onto the home screen, but I can't add any widgets.
