Finally i figured it out!
First of all i want to say that if you have bought these tv boxes from banggood , run and change the firmware!
The 4/64 tv box is a ddr4 version and the 4/32 is a ddr3 version (look at the photos for the details)
The good thing here is that the ddr4 version ''takes'' all the firmwares (both the ddr4 & ddr3) , while the ddr3 version ''takes'' only the ddr3 firmwares!!!

Just realized the manufacturer didn't take the link off of their website, they just uploaded it to google drive and posted that link instead of the old mega link. They also wrongfully labeled the firmware as 'H96 max x2 (Amlogic S905x2) Firmware Android 9.0 LPDDR3'.

So this (which is the firmware labeled: H96 max x2 (Amlogic S905x2) Firmware Android 9.0 LPDDR3 on the manufacturer website) is the same as this (which is the old mega link they shared for the DDR4 version).

Also, using google translate, it sounds like segej at 4pda is saying that the firmware labeled 'H96 max x2 (Amlogic S905x2) Firmware Android 9.0 8DDR3' (this one) actually works for the DDR4 version and is more recent than the previous one Android 9 firmware, dated July 3rd. Has anyone tried this firmware?

I can't installed an application as it prompted a parsing problem whereas i can installed other applications. As this is the only application i need for my andriod box, I tried everything that i read from the internet and it still can't be installed. Therefore I decided to follow this thread closely.

i just flashed the same rom and it seems to be working fine. i have not had time to test it for very long though just a few min so far.. but one thing i have noticed is i can't get it to read my usb flash drive.. i insert the drive and it just ejects it right away and says it's been safely ejected. happens every time i plug it in.. anyone know a way to fix it?? if everything else is stable with this rom i could survive without usb storage working.. but.. ugh.. hope someone knows a way to fix this issue?

PS. my usb airmouse and keyboard work fine when plugged into the usb. it's just usb storage that seems to not work

edit: after further testing over the past 24 hours i've realized it will read fat32 usb drives, but not exfat usb drives. exfat worked before on the original firmware i had before, and it also works on pretty much every other kind of android box i've used in the past..

i hope someone can help me figure out the issue. other than that it seems fine so far. i will keep testing throughout the week.

I have problem with 2 of mine H96 Max X2 boxes, problem is with no picture on HDMI port, i tried several cables and several TVs but no picture at all. However - TV box is working properly, it has video on its AV port, and software wise is ok. I tried flashing other rom, and it flashes and works OK but no picture on HDMI. Please help if anyone have some advice or some idea what to do, to get picture back over HDMI port...

If you haven't tried yet.. While you have the box connected with the av cable, goto the display settings and try to force the resolution to something your tv for sure supports and then plug in the hdmi. I'm sure you've probably already tried that but it's worth a shot. Also.. If u know how to get into recovery using the toothpick method.. Plug hdmI in and try to boot into recovery that way. It should output through the hdmi port. Otherwise I'm afraid it might be a hardware issue. I am no expert tho

Give us more details about the firmwares you have tested, also if both of the tv boxes bought together and in which televisions don't play!

Software inside stayed intact, tv box is powering on and off over remote, when connect AV cable i can see that box is booting and working normaly, launcher and apps.
I have few more other tv boxes and i tried them, they work on same tv and hdmi cable. It seems that hdmi port died on problem devices. When i connect problem device over AV cable (over av port onboard) on cinc or scart, they give picture 576p low resolution), software is working normaly inside, but hdmi port is not reacting, just blank screen..

It's pretty obvious that this power shortage did the bad job!
The digital output chip probably died somehow!
The analog controler chip is diferrent and that's why it's still working...
If and i say if you have someone who knows about these things give him the tv boxes and maybe you will be .... lucky!
But believe me it's very difficult with many variables , to fix it!
Did you ,by the way, test them and with other power adapters that you know they work fine?

I've got a few of these devices and when that happens I forget them. The last was the x96 max x2. Chinese (GB) did not want to give them back to repair than my money back after long negotiations.

Meantime another Tv Box A95X Plus has same problem, appeared when my father did not power down box, but pulled ac adaptor directly from power surge, next thing HDMI stopped working (box responds to remote, led diode is blue when on, and red when off). In next week i will open boxes and try to do something, and one will give to electric service shop, to see if someone can diagnostic hdmi problem line...

I tried: several power adaptors, hdmi cables, tv and monitor devices. Hdmi output is just not there. I have 3 devices ATM with same simptom (2x h96 max x2, and 1x A95x Plus). Affected devices are only S905X2 chipset..

It's very weird that it happened 3 times....!
Maybe there is a problem with the electrical socket or with your electrical switchboard with the neutral or something...!

It shows nothing at the description about the version of ram!
So maybe you'll have to use the lpddr3 firmware version!
Anyway test one of the 2 versions and i think it will be ok!
The only thing i don't know is , if the remote will be working...!
