Even doing a data-backup first with TWRP, last time i had some difficulties to get back all my app configurations and also the Square Home Launcher as i have a paid version of it.

So i am in doubt weather i make the update to V3.1B

My IPTV works fine with TiviMate and Kodi, also all my other apps working fine.

So do you think ALVATECH i should keep my version or change to the new because of the green marked news in the picture? Is it worthy?
I am thinking on the "never change a running team"

Is it difficult o create a zip-file of your V31.B img-File to get flashed on TWRP without loosing the existing datas?

Thanks a lot for your great job!
Honestly this is your choice. Like I've mentioned to other users in the past I don't use IPTV so I never noticed any issues on my end. The only reason I updated the ROM was mainly for IPTV users. If the ROM works good for you right now. Then you can just stay with the one you currently have installed now.
    Thank you,

    Alvatech

This ROM is not for the GT-King Pro. I hope to make a GT-King Pro ROM very soon. As for backing up the box you can use TWRP for backup and restore. The Data partition is really the only thing you would need to backup after you flash a new ROM on your box.
            Thank you,

            Hello,
I don't use this box for gaming, but I'm sure most 2.4ghz controllers should work. Maybe someone else that uses a controller for gaming can shed some light on this.
            Thank you,

            Alvatech
            Sorry for late reply..
I am using a Xiaomi Bluetooth gamepad here, and enjoying the box daily with Asphalt 8.
Have to say, the bluetooth distance is not good 2, perhaps 3 meters before it starts getting false signals.. so I tend to sit on a chair to race, rather than on the couch

              Hello,
I hear if you use different USB ports the bluetooth in the box works better. I personally don't run anything off of bluetooth on these boxes but it's probably worth a shot. It could be it's some how interfering with a port that closer to the bluetooth in the box.
              Thank you,

              Alvatech

                hmm, yeah..

                might be worth trying..
come to think of it.. the only thing structurally in the USB ports is the 2.4ghz usb for the remote.
I could do some testing this weekend with only the bluetooth controller.
                thanks for the tip

Yeah I think there is some interference with USB port being to close to Bluetooth and or something might not be shielded properly. I heard of users using a small USB extension cable like you mentioned and that usually helps with better reception.

Hi Alvatech, thanks so much for this update! Work like a charm!

Just to note about the upgrade, I have used SD-Card Method as first time, but this time I wanted to try with option "erase_bootloader Yes" and don't work. Screen whith android log and text Upgrading appear, and then suddendly black screen. Nothing happend, box keep on. Prepare SD-Card once again with "erase_bootloader" untick, did the trick. Don't know what that option about bootloader does.

My problem with my Rii 8+ mini keyboard now pairing just fine via Bluethoot. I have also have a speaker connected, but it worked before upgrade.

Also note, that power off now work as described, early when tap, some message about root device appear and nothing more that Ok button to tap.

                        Great work!

                        Cheers.

This sounds like you have the wrong version for your box otherwise the erase bootloader option should work. Be sure you have right one for your box serial number.

On another note was it you that was able to get magisk wotkwor on the GT-King

                            Hi Syked!

I just have the serial number printed back as on: SN: B922HQ.... I'm double check I have downloaded the right img file: GT_King_AT_V3.1B_B922.img

As for Magisk tool, I just manage to install it via reboot to Recovery menu, when tap in the red Power Menu button. System reboots and load TWRP. All goes fine, and get installed Magisk .apk from TWRP install, then reboot once again. Box enter normal boot and bring launcher as normal. But for now on, I don't was able to reboot to TWRP anymore, when I tap the red button Power Menu, I see a message telling: "ROOT access unavailable"... This device does not support access to superuser. Something that Magisk has changed... but I'm noob here so has to read a bit more.

Also, install Magisk Manager and when run it tell that Magisk is not insalled... so... something I did that was wrong.

                            Thanks for comment friend!

After upgrading to the latest firmware on this thread, I've noticed that my GT-KING will power on by itself.

                              Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, but the problem is not from this Rom. The bug has from 906PO firmware. this is reported in:
