This post is about Netflix (with white Logo) NOT working in my tv box. (I know I am asking for too much now)

Working: Netflix App with Black Logo which needs a mouse to work properly.
NOT Working: Netflix App with White Logo

White logo icon Netflix is the AndroidTV version, it will NEVER work! That app version requires No-Root and DRM Widevine L1.

Netflix Black logo icon is Mobile version and only requires DRM Widevine L3.

My TV Box: Nexbox A95X 2GB/16GB S905X WIFI AP6330
Rom Installed: ATV9-IMG-DEBUG-AMPERE-AP6330-V3.tar.xz

Working: Netflix App with Black Logo which needs a mouse to work properly.
NOT Working: Netflix App with White Logo

Error Messages:

- When the TV Box Starts this is reported by Netflix

This device is not optimized for Netflix (-14)
```
- When I click on Netflix App (White Logo) this error message is shown

```
Error: This version of Netflix app is not compatible with your device (-13)
```

Happy to provide dmesg or any other logs that may be useful troubleshooting.

I think this is an application for licensed devices with an integrated WV1 license. In this case, unfortunately, I cannot help you. Use the application with a dark logo

Next Questions for anyone who may have performed these two actions.

1. How to first unroot this Rom
2. How to install Magisk

I never used magisk, for unroot I can later create a manual, or just a rootless build

bumerc about the OTG port, well is a bit more complicated than just disabled in the uboot.
Since i made the rom to be used in khadas 3º usb port(USB C one) i added a internal compile option to make it always OTG and just ignore the uboot setting.
So unless i compile a new build, its going to be hard to fix.. but not impossible.
On the Android Assistant issue (Voice assist). there is a issue in the new androidtv assist app, just do not update it or if you do just change the system language from english US to english UK and it should work again.

I use a standard gxl_p212_v1 u-boot, khadas and aml sources are the same in this regard. However, OTG port does not matter, this is deactivated by default in the kernel device tree source and must be activated before the compilation. In the last two builds I just forgot about this.

haaa ok, totally forgot about the device tree.

i normally just ignore the device tree and set a internal variable to enable it disable it at compile time.

If you look into the logs, the dwc3 driver is already running, the rest must be declared accordingly in the dtb

About Google assistant. I noticed that after the update, on the Nvidia shield (2017 android 8.0.1), voice search, searches only in YouTube. After uninstalling the Google update. Searches in all applications.

Yes, the problem is the Google app for androidTV, and it is not the ROM firmware; Google must fix their app. I believe SC already answered the same thing for you in this forum thread.

changed. Most buttons should work

alex161rus, tried your remote file. Did not work. Weird, that is the remote.conf from my original rom backup so you would think 0xfe01 should work. When I run dmesg -c with debug enabled I get same results I saw in terminal window. Buttons that work like UP and Down have no output to the screen. Buttons that are mapped wrong have no output to the screen either. Right and Left buttons that don't work have output like this... any thoughts? Thanks for your help!
