No drain

My M9pro on latest stock has almost no drain. Mail is on push and wifi is on. During sleep in 12-13h it drained 5%. Did no special tricks. Also on RR2.0 i did not experience any real drain during the night, used to have a nice flat line.

On battery drain.....

From what I am seeing here it is the M9 Pro with cell phone capability that is having the sleep problem.

I put my Pipo M9 Pro WiFi to sleep last night and it came back up this AM just fine with NO appreciable battery drain what so ever.

I have removed the 'phone' programs via Titanium backup and never had a sleep battery drain problem.....

It seems that the Pipo M9 Pro with 3G just might be the big battery drain problem in the Pro class.....

The pc recognises the M9Max, and I have no problem flashing, etc.
If the pc has problems not recognising the M9Pro, then I will try the microsoft installer.
Do you download all the files, then run the installer and let it pick which files it will use?

If your pc see the Max it should see the Pro also. They use the exact same drivers.

This is a sure fire way to settle the GPS fix issues on M9pro devices (and be used on other GPS enabled devices as well)

First you to download (NTPSync) on your tablet and set it to run on every reboot: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...id=org.ntpsync

Then uninstall the GPSFix or any other quick fix apps from Playstore asthey WILL overwrite the settings in the mods gps.conf file, so with goes the advantage.

The fix has to be hand installed one by one into the SYSTEM/ETC folder on the device(unzipped this and extract the files) The installation files are mostly set to permission "rw-r-r" ownership to "root.root"
Instructions are included in the zipped folder.

After changing the locale settings to your country/continent via the Win (use note pad, after saving the modified settings please check that Win Notepad dont save it as *.txt, if it does then all you have to do is zippped the *.txt (7zip) and within the zip app change the extension from *.txt to===> *.conf, then go out of the zip app and unzipped the file- I strongly recommend to use 7zip)

Now for your answer the gps.conf files should go into the system/etc folder just copy it over into system/etc folder, set to rw-r-r(permission) and ownership to to root.root,
For your information most Chinese device phone/pads do not have the gps.conf file in them since they are shipped all over the world and they conveniently left it out. Unlike SAMSUNG which knows where it ships its batches to therefore they have a similar conf file in them. If you look at the attached files SuplRoot.cert is from Googles and the other gps.cer is from SAMSUNG.
Happy trying it out you'll be amaze anything please PM me or " [email protected] ". But the performance is limited by the hardware that we get from PiPo especially the aluminium backing is causing a lot of interference ("attenuation" I quote a gps engineer). But this will improve the performance of a fix to below 20 seconds everytime (but on the first run it might take a few minutes but less than 5 min.
If you find other gps.conf files mod with A-GPS settings in them please avoid them for now since will degrade the wifi signals (I dunno why but i did try and my wifi refuse to connect to internet) and the gps takes forever to get a fix.

No you dont have to it will install all the possible drivers within a win system folder and when it detects an RK device it will choose the drivers and install it. Let me check to see what you guys are seeing when you download the files. It is just and exe file. I cant attached it here the because it is 8.9Mb (over limit.)
And probably give you another link that dont break up the zip folder.(LINK UPDATED)

I made an error , it should be the orginal extension of gps.conf or gps.cfg and not *.bat (too many adb scripts) sorry about that.
