T-R42 - wasser firmware - JB Android 4.2.2

Hi all,
I've got this device

On rear side model is EKB311b
To get it rooted I decided to change firmware. I tried different firmware not only Wasser's but can't find any on which wifi and bt works. I even can't find stock firmware where it works.
Now firmware is 1.2.5, dmesg is included
I would be very grateful for any firmware with wifi/bt support for my device.

To be clear, have you tried both 'kernel-720p-t-r42-old.img' & 'kernel-720p-t-r42-new.img' kernels with the 'boot-720p.img' found in Wasser 1.2.5 ROM.

V1.0 & V1.1 not working with 1.2.5 ?

After installation, the TV Box fails to boot. It shows just few frames of the start-up animation and hangs forever.
I had to downgrade to 1.2.4 firmware in order to make my TV Box to work again.

as I recall correctly, this is the first time in this thread I read
about somebody having problems with Wassers Firmware 1.2.5
and a T-R42 Device with V1.1 ?
Anybody else having problems with this set up ?
If so it might be another problem than guessed before.
I thought it was V1.0 specific.

May be Wasser can solve this ... hope so.

I think people with v1 are unable to flash 1.2.5 successfully.

I have the same problem with my t-r42 box. the Box is starting, the bootanimation comes up, but nothing else happened...
I've already tried every possible kernel and every boot image from version (1.2.5)

which Kernel- and boot-image do you use for working 1.2.4?

Have you tried both New & Old kernels?

just tried old kernel, the same, wifi/bt don't work.

My brother has EKB311b too, trust me! but I tried to flash many custom Rom none of them work..Always was Wifi or bluetooth problems, so gave up...
The only thing is work is Stock Rom is already rooted.. Enjoy!!

Yup, this is my device, EKB311b. Tried firmware you specified but wifi and bt don't work.

Since beta 1 of XBMC Gotham has been released, featuring hardware acceleration for Android and many other enhancements, it would be highly recommended to upgrade from Frodo.

The developers did announce that no future updates will be released for Frodo after 12.3 V7a.

I found the option in XBMC which allows input from remote directly to onscreen keyboard. The versions of XBMC I recently downloaded by default was turned off. Just sharing my findings.

With my setup 1.2.5 new 1080p boot and kernel works the best (b351_v2.0). With this software version the box is still sometimes finicky to awake. If it totally power off I have to play with it to power up. Sometimes I have to disconnect HDMI and then power on button for box to start up.

Not exactly. I've tried the "1080p old" version.

I have both K-R42 and T-R42 old version both ..

The 1.2.5 K-R42 works fine ...
I figured out that the are files Missing in the System.img on 1.2.5 for T-r42 Old version
So Here is what I have done ... Until Wasser Gets it fixed ..
I flash all images except the system.img from 1.2.5 old version 1080p and
then I use the system.img from 1.2.4. and all works fine ...

This will get You alot of Wasser updates Just not all of them ...
