    Thanks Wasser,
just flashed my device and it does what it should.
    What works
    • Ethernet works - I am on LAN now
    • Bluetooth works with my loudspeakers
    • WiFi seems to work, just found my network and others
    • Seems to work smother than Version before but need more testing
Sitting in front of the device for more than an hour now. Background I-Net Radio streaming
in the background over BT to loudspeakers. No issue with this.

    Possible problems
Remote control doesn't do. Anybody else ?

I will now try to figure out how to change the keyboard layout on my own.
Do not trust apps which could read my passwords ...

Recovery is not working for V1

        Wasser,
The recovery.img for 1.2.5 is not working for Version 1. If I boot to recovery it will soft brick my device.

          That confirms what I'm seeing.

Also appears that my Logitech C270 no longer works... with any of the sound recording apps, or for video.
I've noticed the stock camera app is now gone. Would removing that have removed driver support as well? What can be done about that?

No other issues I can find though... seems to be just as stable as 1.2.4 (on my v1.0) with a bit less bloat. I backed up the XBMC from 1.2.4 and am using that. It works just as well on 1.2.5.

The autohide system bar is nice to have back, although it doesn't autohide for XBMC which is a bit of a shame.

Bill, just for the future reference, if you haven't done so. I backup all my system apps, so if you missing some system app like ehomeshare, camera etc...just restore it back with Titanium backup. BTW, I backup all my original system apps.

Good plan... however C270 support was never stellar. I'd be interested to hear if there were alternatives to make it better.
I'm going to try the 4.3 camera.apk and see if I make out any better/worse.
Works well. Just download and install like any apk (check unknown sources). Edit - Seems like devices running AOSP Roms are having issues installing the apk. But you guys are lucky enough to already have the 4.2.2 camera ;) Edit again - for...

i installed the firmware 1.2.5 on my t-r42 and the OC kernel => kernel-t_r42_cpu1704_ddr720_1080p_gpu600h

But with this kernel, the ethernet doesn't work (i rebooted 3 times)

                With the kernel => kernel-1080p-t-r42-new it's OK

                Can you help me ???

                  What doesn't work:
                  • Remote control --> My fault. Sorry. Remote works
                  • Boot into Recovery - softbricked - needed to re-flash again -
no other chance to revive it

                  Will check more

I have T-R42 B351_v1.1, and stock remote control is working.
Batteries in remote control could lose a contact, try to move them, I put some soft pads inside to fix them better.

Tried the 4.3 camera.... no go.

As far as I can see, USB camera/mic support has to be enabled in the kernel. Think I'm out of luck for any .apk solution.

                          Hi Bill,
strange, mine is exactly the same like yours. So may be I am too stupid to put batteries in .
Or its broken, but it worked before flashing. I will try again. Thanks for the pic. At least there is hope....
EDIT: Yes, it was a simple contact failure. Remote works like a charm. Sorry for bothering.
