And two questions about the installing process:

Pressing Power + Esc buttons should put tablet in Loader Mode? I wasn't able.
I've had to press reset button while holding Esc.

In the Readme.txt you say "2) Connected the supplied USB cable from the device OTG port (far right port) to your PC."
It's a bit confusing. I think that OTG port is the one labeled Host, and the USB cable must be connected to the port labeled USB.

That's right...the only reason to use host is for an external mouse or keyboard. Use USB.

The button combinations sometimes change from device to device (for some reason, I do not know). I'm glad you were able to figure it out.

Some notes : sometimes little freezes, some of my apps use only half the screen like feedly and the stock browser

Hi All,
Just got back from annual trip to the UK. Took the tablet with me and was pleased to see KitKat from PIPO released, but am patiently waiting for the 3G version which hopefully will be released before Chinese New Year! One thing to report that I thought could have been Chinese electric is the fact that the tablet refuses to fully charge - I could be the charging indicator, but I am not sure (I am using Battery Widget Reborn by Thomas Hubalek) . It gets to about 94%/95% but never actually goes to full 100% charged even if I leave it plugged in all night? I have only had one or two freezes over the past three weeks, but I am pretty sure they are app related, not ROM ones (BBC iPlayer stopping when loading when not connected to the internet for instance) - Actually being able to use the iPlayer is a MASSIVE bonus (thanks Bob for spoofing the Galaxy rather than keeping it a Pipo tablet) That' it for now,hopefully others can report in with their feedback as well, it really helps the developers to improve their work! This makes me wonder if there have been changes to hardware over time.

My M9 Pro I leave on my desk unplugged and 4 days later when I hit the button to wake it up, I still have 89% battery! And I know it is NOT in deep sleep because I hear ring tones when I get mail the entire time!

For me and my M9 Pro, this rocks!
FYI, before I made the wifi antenna mod, IT SUCKED POWER LIKE A WILD CAT while in sleep......
That one mod made a huge hardware difference!

If your not getting that with my ROM then for sure, there is some difference in hardware AND TRUST ME, China does this all the time! They change hardware and say nothing about it... I have been through this 100's of times with a single product!

The only way to work on differences like this is to look deeply at what is happening on the tablet while in sleep. dmesg and logcat logs help as a start.

you are dead right about the tablets being good! Mine is only about 8 weeks old and I have never had a WiFi problem, so I am reluctant to open it up. It is a 3G version so I suspect both the battery issues are radio related (not charging to 100% and losing about 1% per hour when off) Could you point me in the right direction to find the logging apps? I am happy to run these for a week or so to give you & Randy some better info that may get you to find the source of these two issues (it may also help Pipo!! - if they are actually reading this!!) 3G is working in the KitKat no 3G version...i had installed and 3g was working and others confirmed this.

It may well be, but gps is not! This Finless 1.5 is fine for the moment.

Lately my M9 pro 3g with Finless 1.5 automaticly shutts off when i put it aside for a while.
Someone else have this ?

Either remove your external SD card or format it with NTFS and see if the freezes stop.

Will there be a Finless ROM for the PIPO M7 pro ?
M7 and M9 both have the weak GPS problem.. Heard in another forum, that some guy resolved he's M9 GPS issue with Finless 1.5 + some Apps.
