Excellent rom. Very polished, with a good set of configuration options. I needed the ability to change orientation for some games (that won't run otherwise), but it is also very useful for browsing and comics. Thanks

you can change the orientation in my 1.0.1 rom, Go Setting->Display->Screen

I assume you have unzipped the file to get the embedded wasser.firmware.minix.x7.1.0.1.img file?

install pure kitkat version of flash from real men - it is recompeled version for 4.4.2 android only

try it with mozilla firefox - 100% tested with Firefox

I've ran into some issues installing v1.0.1.

First, it would find the X7, wipe-it out and reboot and wait for the loader, and for some reason the X7 boots ordinarily but with not ROM inside ... So i felt it needed my interruption in the flash process. First, the moment it shows that it is waiting for the loader to start after it's done with wiping, i immediately restart it back to recovery mode, and the flash process begins downloading the ROM (and checking it right after)

It seems to try to boot, but something is wrong:

it doesnt even make it to a spin, and it shuts down (not reboot)

Wasser, any chance to make a multiple file download as well, i really am not a fan of the batch tool.

Tried Firefox but still canot get to make Amazon Videos work. They load fine in browser window but if I try full screen browser crashes. Same issue with Dolphin browser. In fact on Amazon it does not even reconize that Flash is installed.

Kernel version 2 and 3 is bad. Sound input change after reboot to Neo A2.

Where I can download default kernel for firmware 1.0.1?

I flashed the kernel linked in post #1146.

I also am back to the sound being set to airmouse A2 on reboot again as well as the microphone input doesn't work.

but the crash is no more and its very stable.

I didn't know at first either so I searched this whole thread to find wasser gave instructions in the first 5 pages.


1 lauch terminal application in android (download from the play store any terminal program)
--the following are commands you type in terminal--
2 "su" (it might ask for su permissions hit grant)
3 "flash_image kernel kernel.img" (make sure to have copied the kernel.img file to /sdcard directory first)
4 "reboot" (go ahead and type reboot in the terminal to reboot)

I have sudden shut downs after Homescreen is shown within the first 2 Minutes.

The screen freezes and shows lines. Before the freeze I can open the settings or an app.

I have flashed the rom now 3 times (and downloaded it freshly every time), but it's always like this

you have to flash the kernel linked in post #1146 with wassers instructions reposted #1198 post....

or... you can wait for 1.0.2 which wasser stated will have this fixed in it.
