@Wasser, do you think you can patch kernel for that? NFS/CIFS folders mounting is so important for NAS user with very big movies files
    Btw, Thanks for your ROM.
Applying the Dalvik cache change to resolve this, instead of patching the kernel may be a better idea as it will allow to install other kernels with this ROM.

      Hi Wasser!

First of all: Great work! I really like the progress you have made so far and the changes you incorporated from feedback in this thread!

Unfortunately, one of my major purposes for having an Android box still is not satisfied. This not to be mad at you (really seems a Rockchip problem, up until now I have only seen it working on some SDK2 JB Android versions so far):

      * NPO and RTL XL apps cant stream: They either will not start streaming, or they will start at the lowest quality while they should dynamically switch to better streams (HLS).

      * Same goes for the following use case: With the browser, go to http://www.3fm.nl. Click on the Camera icon to open the visual radio stream. Watch it for a while. When it tries to go to higher quality, it crashes

This lack of support for good HLS streaming or other forms of dynamic HTTP streaming can very well be the major cause for many occurrances of situations where people say they can not stream this or that.

I dont know if it is OK to ask for this, but i think it would be a good idea to include xposed framework on the ROM for the sake of Xposed GEL Settings module, which is "the settings" for the Google Now Launcher, and it is working quite well

it's funny. i've heard for xposed in this thread for the first time and there you go now, cant live without it...very useful

ps, i did not update to .95 yet, waiting for 0.96...will it arrive any time soon?

          Hi Wasser,
Fixed this issue by copying the libmediaplayerservice.so from .92 to .95, not sure what the difference is between the two libs but the .92 version works for me

What XBMC is everyone using with this?

Some of the Gotham nightlies seemed to have stutter and sync issue for me on wasser 0.95 playing 1080p mkvs.

I've gone back to 13.0 Gotham for now, which seems better.

Can't get Beyond XBMC to work, which I think is expected behaviour...

Hi Crapar, it's a lot of changes in this lib, i need to figure out what causes the problem in 0,95.

                    thanks for your infos

I don't want to add Xposed to my firmware because i want to keep my firmware small and clean as i can.

The next firmware release is 1.0.0. It stable enough to release it as final version! I plan to release it today or tomorrow.

                      Highlights of this 1.0.0 release:

                      1 perfect 1080p video streaming
                      2 multiuser support
                      3 autohide statusbar
4 working webcam with correct contrast/brighness
                      5 add reboot/sleep (bootloader mode)
                      6 several bugfixes!

                            Fantastic news

Multi User is going to require a bit more app space if i am not wrong, the bigger parameter file is going to be a must.

again, wasser shows us how fundamental water is

                              Apps not work correct

Streamcloud and PopconKino doesn't play correct.
And I have a few shoutdowns. I use the normal kernel.

Is the Ethernet cable bootloop amongst those bugfixes?

If required, i will be very happy to provide log files and what not. Just tell me how i do it

For now i tested with 2 different routers (an old one and a new one), 2 kitkat roms, and we ruled out all human error by testing thoroughly, both with and without DHCP, and turning on/off the auto-negotiation.

I still have the same problem no matter what i do, and i would really, really love to have kitkat with Ethernet cable.

This is only an issue with 4.4.2 roms. I never had this experience with roms before.

                                Thanks
