Hi wasser,
I've made the test you asked me.
I flashed all your KK ROMs, installed and tested the MotoGP app
(Videopass - v. 1.2 - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ideopass&hl=it), saved the catlog.
As you can see below the problem is only with 1.0.3:

• 0.95 - Videopass App: working (Log file: catlog_0.95.txt)
• 1.0.0 - Videopass App: working (Log file: catlog_1.0.0.txt)
• 1.0.1 - Videopass App: working (Log file: catlog_1.0.1.txt)
• 1.0.2 - Videopass App: working (Log file: catlog_1.0.2.txt)
• 1.0.3 - Videopass App: NOT working - Login is OK but I get the error "Video can't be played" (Log file: catlog_1.0.3.txt)

I think the problem is HLS related...
So I made another test: I substituted the 1.0.3 "/system/lib/libffmpeg.so" file with the one grabbed from 1.0.2 and the app works on wasser 1.0.3 KK ROM!

i cannot reproduce this problems as you described, webcam just works for me whithout any probem.
It's only small change and i don't think it could cause such problem.

Have you changed something on system? Can someone else reproduce this issue too?

I have updated the firmware 1.0.3 (filename is the same) yesterday, which fix usb-otg port issue and other critical issue (permission issue). Could you please download it and try again? please give me the feedbacks

Nope, I did not any change different to flash the kernel with the otg port fix, only normal customization by end user as add .kl file for airmouse/keyboard layout.
I had reflash/ full restore now the X7 with the new v1.0.3a fw, effectively the otg port is working but the webcam functionality had been affected from the v1.0.3 original with the otg issue and this new v1.0.3a with the otg fix; I have two webcams:
1. Logitech c525: working ok in v1.0.3, but in v1.0.3a the image is still ok, but to record videos with camera app is not ok, only audio without image only a green plain screen background or square
2. Microsoft Lifecam HD-3000: working Ok in v 1.0.3, but in v 1.0.3a not Ok, very, very dark image almost only black brackground, not usable at all.
I had tested the stock 1608 Mhz kernel (antutu 19388), 1704h kernel (antutu 19601) and 1800h kernel (antutu 20825) all of them are stable.
It´s good to have google search voice included in the core of the rom, as you did now with v1.0.3a.
Wasser that´s the info I can provide at this time from my test; hope you can get working both fucntionality together and not have to choose one or another. Thanks.

Yes, the same 3.0.36+ linux kernel.

Minix had been delayed to come out with a KK fw; I think is their obligation to release a firmware with a newer kernel than this old one, it´s there is not matter that in the upcoming weeks they release any other KK fw with the same old kernel, that would be ridiculous after the words they had said about this matter since January-2014!

1.0.3 great work

I am running the 1.0.3 for a couple of days now
with the Wasser XMBC viewing videos from ext usb disks
The passthru is perfect

Trying this rom and Quickshot today, after using justXBMC... justXBMC puts out 1080p @ 60hz just fine... Wasser and Quickshot 3.1 both do too, except there are lots of pixels that flicker. The whole screen stays, but pixels will appear white or green or some other color, all over the screen distorting it. Any ideas on how to fix?

i tried to fix this issue. Because i cannot reproduce this issue, i need your help to test it.

Hi Wasser,

I'm using 1.03 now, and there's still a problem with Google Play Music: After every song or after every second song, playback stops. It restarts if I tick the play button, but nevertheless it's impossible to play a complete album.
I don't know where this bug comes from; is there anybody else having it?

Ok Wasser, tested; almost the webcams function is as good as the first v1.0.3; c525 it´s ok, photos and video recording with good bright images; MS lifecam hd-3000 it´s working better with video recording and photos, but the image is still dark, not as brilliant as it was on v1.0.3, and when the video recording is finished the camera app suddenly stop working; still the bright level (or exposure) must be increased for this model to reach the better quality that v1.0.3 deliver on this model to can be usable.
Otg-usb port is working ok as well, and the streaming apps tested are ok (youtube HD, cloudtv, xbmc 1080p & 720p working Ok). Thanks.

ps: the last OC kernels v1.0.3a were not updated with the otg fix, as soon are flashed the device lost again the otg port.
