    Bluetooth Low Energy

    Hi d33,
    I use a TV-Stick MK809iv KitKat with RK3188 and AP6210.
I need WIFI and Bluetooth Low Energy. Can you make a kernel with this feature? Can the AP6210 ever work with Bluetooth Low Energy?
    Regards Billy

      Hello d33:
Thanks for your kernels,RTL 8723bs works fine but I find my rk device does not have hdmi sound.
I tried to build my kernel with https://github.com/linux-rockchip/kernel_rockchip/tree/rockchip-3.0-rbox-kk ,but the same problem occured(no sound).
Finally,I followed these steps then hdmi sound was ok.Would you like to provide me a special kernel for the sound probelm?

I've uploaded a new RTL8723AU tester in the first post which should do BT too.

I don't flash from Ubuntu so can't help on the flash problem, sorry.

No idea on Low Energy? What should I be looking for? Are you refering to BT 4.0?

Try the kernel I uploaded on the first post (I accidentally omitted RK1000 HDMI sound support on the one I posted above)

The stick supports BT4.0 and according to data from AP6210 even BT protocol for Low Energy is supported. Also works partially, pairing o.k. , Data transmission start and then abort. Think it is a software problem.

I've checked the RK wifi patch site and there are only two patches released for BT 4.0; one for MT6620 and the other for RTL8723BS. Both are patches for Android OS and not kernel.

There is an APxxxx fix for BT PCM - I can try to apply but the text is chinese and so I'd be guessing

That is the correct way to flash.

What I meant was it is possibly best to post in a sub-forum where people have the same make/model as you and see what ROM combinations work for them.

The chances are your SoC has an unstable PLL and so wont boot without the T 'locks' in operation

                          I can look into it.

[edit] Messages come from ROM - I've looked at source and they can be removed but you would need to ask the ROM builder to remove

                            cyx_cs918_v_2_1 + wasser-firmware-kr42-new-1.0.4 + kernel_KK_v4.2.4_TVBOX_RTL8723au_HD

                            Hi d33,
Finally, by using windows, then linux, and briking my device twice, I succeed in flashing your v4.2.4_TVBOX_RTL8723au kernel over wasser-firmware-kr42-new-1.0.4.img

I tried several overclocks configurations and get some freeze or bootloops for cpu>1608h
                            I'm actually testing this configuration : cpu1608h_gpu798h_ddr800.

Actually, I can't get no wifi, no blutooth, and no ethernet so it's quite limitated... I don't know if i's due to wasser firmware which of course is not adapted to my device (cyx_cs918_v_2_1), and/or your kernel.

Here is my dmesg : http://pastebin.com/WS9H81pG

Does JB and KK kernels are compatibles, so I could try various combinations of firmwares / kernels ?

I'm gonna keep playing with that, so just tell me if I can do something to help improving your kernels.

                            Cheers
Cyxtech RK3188 box (cyx_cs918 v2_1) with last sock firmware and SPMC
-> It finally works like a charm !
