d33, I already asked before and don't whan to presure you, but I am very interested to know before Flashing my CX-919:

Please, What are the Main differences Between the v4.1 and this new v4.2 Kernels?

Thanks again for all your help!!

That is a factor of the ROM not the kernel

I thought it was to do with the rom too but with the kernal supplied with the rom (finless beta kk rom)there was a hdmi settings tab in settings witch I could adjust the screen scale & im sure it was not there when I flashed your kernals I could be wrong i might just have been having a moment ..will have another go tomoz

AW: Kitkat Kernels for All (well most!)

HM no matter what i do i geht an endless loop. I'm on neomods 4.2.2 KitKat ROM none of the kernel besides the the kernel that is applied with the ROM works. I get either an endless reboot (with an rk logo) or a recovery screen and a black screen after reboot. I tried different loader versions but that won't help. Since it works for others I assume I'm making some stupid mistake but I'm unable to figure out what it is.

I'm using a justop device which seems to be a rebranded version of the cozyswann s400. Any Ideas what I might be doing wrong?

            Thank you
            Jens

ROM based on beta sources-> kernels based on beta sources (2.x, 3.x)

New 'official' ROM -> new kernel (4.x)

4.2.2 is not kitkat so if you are using a 4.2.2 rom the kitkat kernals will not work for you

True fortunately I'm just to stupid to write. I'm using a 4.4.2 KitKat ROM so in theorie the kernel should work...

flashed V4.2 stick version on mk908-ii. no boot problem, but I see screen blanking/flashing sometimes. other than that, it's working nicely.

no boot on any d33 kernel

I have a mk809III RT8188ETV wifi and every kernel i have tried from d33 has a no signal on the tv I also tried noderat over clock kernel as well with no success i have managed to get 4.4.2 to work with Yerzu kernel do any of your kernels work for MK809III Old Wifi series? I would love to have some possiblities to OC alittle on my device with KitKat and you seem to have the kernel needed I would deeply appreciate if your could maybe make a test kernel for my device or anything from your series of kernels would help thanks for your hard work making these kernel possible

                          v4.2 doesn't like OCing...

Well, I tried v4.2 (thanks d33) but this version is quite picky on changing volts/hertz... even with low-ocing, device ends in frequent reboots & system freezes (tested only with main menu screen) ... I suppose this is gonna be related with new PLL changes.

I guess I'm gonna stay with v4.1... which is great for OCing, hehe !

                          Greetingz.
                          MK809III clone (T model) + d33 Kernel v4.1 {OC'ed kernel mod} (1.7Ghz/768/800Mhz) !!!

Yepp, the bits I changed forced 'normal' behavior with PLL clock as if RK3188. For a T version this makes it harder to conform. I was hoping it would help the VMAC code work but still no luck with this release of source.

I understand... then, how about to increase PLL values in order to get safer values for T version? Seems these CPUs needs extra power to work stable.

No, you are missing this one.

Normal Rk3188 source code used the SOC PLL to drive most timings. However it is 'dodgy' PLL stability that make up most of the T (and some non-T) stock.

To compensate, the source was re-written to detect potentially poor PLL stability and use slower but more reliable clock sources.

In the latest kernel I've just found four new areas where PLL was being backed down and 'forced' the code to use PLL regardless of eFuse settings.
