I upgraded from a MK808 to MK908 with Finless 1.8. I use them as a desktop with a monitor so only run 1920x1080 with small icons.
I already swapped out the large triangular cursor in 1.8 with the small arrow png from the MK808 ROM in the framework file.
I would also like to change all the large blue buttons (home, back, snapshot etc) and large time display in 1.8 back to small versions. How do I do that?
CPU won't go over 1.4 GHz with 1.8 GHz Finless 1.8 Overclock
I tried the overclock kernels which install and run OK but the CPU is still at 1.4 GHz and Antutu at only 15000 or so. Is there another step to get 1.8 GHz? The MK908 is brand new.

Can anyone help me out with a couple of extra OC kernels for V1.8? (I'd do it myself if I only knew how!)
My MK908 just won't do 1800Mhz CPU, so all the included OC kernels in 1.8 don't work. It will however do 600/798GPU and 666/800 DDR. I used to run the hybrid rom OC at these levels with no issues.
If anyone could help with modding the OC kernels from Finless 1.8 that would be great:
i flashed the 1.7 finless OC-kernels on the 1.8 works fine!
I'll give em a go! Wasn't sure if finless had used a different base kernel in 1.8. Soon find out if there's any problems!
Looking at the zip the 1704/600/798 kernel is there! Just hope my stick can cope with 1704! (I seem to have a cpu that just doesn't like anything past 1600 and yes it's on a 3a psu!)
i tried a couple of oc kernels on my RK3188T and they dont seem to apply.
cpu is still on 1400 and even antutu score is the same.
are "T" models locked?

Afaik they are locked to 1400mhz, its like they are a lower quality standard and to protect failure they are locked to lower frequency hardwarewise.
