    2. Names of mounting points of external USB devices are always sda1, sda2, .... regardless of the real partition names.

I currently have 3 hard drives connected through a hub to my PopcornHour (Drives formatted in NTFS partition named "films", "series", "concerts".), and PopcornHour sees them as a resource named "films", "series", "concerts".
I tested it in amlinux - is just as well.

In MXIII Android TV Box these discs appear to be "sda1", "sda2", "sda3", but after the power is turned off and back on again, prev "sda1" is now "sda2", or "sda3", depending on the speed of activation of the disks.
And if you create a media library in XBMC based on the drive name (can not be otherwise?), Suddenly the whole library sucks.

It's not a big problem if you are using MXII only as a simple player. You know, you connect a USB stick and play the movie. But if you use XBMC in library mode, sorry it did not work well.

This is the biggest problem for me. It contradicts the idea of building a media center based on XBMC installed on this item.

And.... what about passthrough DTS HD and Dolby True HD?
I see your point. A simple fix would be to never turn off the device! (that's what I'm doing) Or you may also consider setting up a media server if you're worried about this box not powering off your hard drives (whether in suspend mode or while being idle).

And.... what about passthrough DTS HD and Dolby True HD?
I was looking for an answer to that myself:

tl;dr: It seems this box (or Android as a whole) cannot bitstream DTS HD and Dolby TrueHD just yet. I know you've probably read elsewhere that similar android boxes can do that, but as it turns out that's simply not true. Unfortunately.

No but you can make one using the customization tool.
Open 108K4 with only the first level box checked.
Replace boot.img & recovery.img Make new image file.
Open the new image file with all 3 boxes checked.
replace system files from the zip
                          Make final IMG ROM.

"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"

Is there any solution for this?
