I have tested Pipo's latest released stock ROM. It works well but no big differences for me.
I have now flashed with Pipo P1 RileyROM 1.1 (the Wi-Fi version for me) and you can find it here: http://www.FreakTab.com/showthread.php?t=15608

RileyROM 1.1 is based on the latest released stock ROM and it runs fine for me. It also enables you to select partitions size so that you get more than the original 2 GB. I started to test it today.

          1. Enable multi window and start video "Big Buck Bunny 1080p".

          2. Start CPU stats and arrange windows, so that both video and CPU app are shown.

          3. Video runs and CPUs shows about 13 to 20% load.

          4. Switch tablet from landscape to portrait and back again. This increase CPUs to about 31 to 38%.

          5. Pause the video and CPUs goes down to 1 to 5%.

I guess there are more powerful CPU apps that could log statistics and show more measurements. I just added the first one that I found.

Edit: In this test I used the stock video app. I did not use MX Player and I don't know if they could give different results.

          6. Disable multi window and run the video in full screen and CPUs load is about 30 to 40%.

Note! The stock 4k video app is really nice. I can resize the complete video window with two fingers and then move it around. This functionality is new to me:
          Thank ,,great GPU then.
Another question if i can:does the tablet atively read andò write NTFS formatted microsd?if not,van you intall paragon software from market andò try to mount NTFS microsd (maybe rriley could work on kernel...)?

          Thanks a lot

in my opinion the most important test is 1080p big buck bunny h265 because it is too early to adopt 4k videos ( players app may not be properly ready), furthermore tha tablet does not have hdmi 2.0 and the screen is not 4k.

which is cpu load while playing big buck bunny ( fist downolad it , don't stream it)
I watched the 1080p Big Buck Bunny again, downloaded to the tablet and with both stock video app an MX player. There is small lags and my friends son 7 years old confirmed it too.
However, we streamed it directly from the site with MX Player and it runs perfect for us, no lagging. This is strange and it would be good if someone else could test it too.
The downside with streaming it is that it takes a minute or so until the video starts and it's not possible to move back and forth within the video clip.

It is very strange that streaming was smoother than downloaded file..maybe streaming file has a lower bitrate?

this is for sure: file is compressed for streaming to limit bandwidth requirement.

My P1 won't charge to 100%. It always stops at 93% or 94%. Anyone has a fix? Maybe I get a 9.5v or 10v charger? Any thoughts on this issue?

It is possible you have a weak charger....but be very careful about trying other chargers. The regulator circuitry on the battery is very sensitive. If it fry's you will have an unfixable brick.

Thanks. I just ordered another original charger from Ganggood.com. Hopefully it's a normal one.

                        Hey Guys

Just found out pipo has a newer Tab, does it makes sense to sell my M6 pro and buy P1? Is it really faster and works better? (With special rom from here like i used on my M6)Has anyone tried with 3g version? The M6pro wasnt the best in 3g...

Or is the Cube u65GT the better decision?

                        Greets!

I don't think the 3g version is available yet. I do think this is a much better tablet than the M6 Pro...I have both. But the M6 Pro is still a very good tablet.

Cube u65GT is the very best tablet I've ever owned. Fast, responsive, and with a wi-fi AND 3G coverage NEVER seen on a Pipo device.
I sold my m6pro to get the cube.

Also 3G speed is SUPERB (Cube is rated at 21Mbit download and it goes damn fast!, Pipo 7Mbit but real is 1-2).

No compare on build quality too...

I just want to underline that Pipo uses G+P screen (glass internal + plastic external) instead of the more expensive and better G+G (glass internal + glass external) of the cube.

The same person Mike Cane wrote the big fraude story for the Cube.

Use Google and Mike Cane .....Cube and read what he writes.

And at the end what does this bench marks proof?
