Pipo RK3288 Tablets: Discussion

Thank you for your discussion. I know that the diffrent tabs i asked for have diffrent CPUs and so on and till now i am happy with my M6pro. The battery drain is not really a problem. The Rileyrom works fine and it is really very better then the pipo stock rom. But like you guys already told it is sometimes very unstable and got lags and is hanging some times. cenectivity of 3g is also slow and if you turn on modem it takes a long time until you get a connection. This is why i think about buing the cube.
so thank you and back to the pipos!
Cube is 10.000 times better, even because 3G on cube is 21Mb and pipo is limited to 7Mb (I don't undestand why Pipo doesn't cosider this aspect as important). Also about 3G (and a little bit also about Wifi) coverage there is no comparison!
In general you can't go wrong with connectivity aspect with cube talk 9x.
Until now the only very bad aspect of the cube is battery charging time: it's almost 7 hours. It's a little bit annoyng...
Last but not least cube is 100% stable out of the box (it's the first time I've seen this on a chinese tablet).if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Cube 21Mbit
I performed a Speed test in 3G (with the same internet provider @7Mbit).
It says (in the same condition and place):
6.4 Mbit REAL with the cube
1.4 Mbit REAL with the Pipo
In the way I use the tablet: ALL the time with wifi/3G browsing, no games at all, connectivity is the MOST important feature for me, knowing the not so good performance with wifi and even worse with 3G I switched from pipo to the cube.
That's all.
Having the most performer SoC is not so important for me. Best performance/coverage for browsing is at first place.if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Did you test above on a Pipo P1 or is it on another Pipo device?
What firmware is your P1 on?

If you prefer I can say: it's 4 TIMES faster
I tested 3G on a m6pro (the model Bioxyd asked for), 3G module is exatly the same of the p1, RATED as 7Mbit.
Pipo innovation from m6pro to the P1 is limited to the RK3288 SoC afaik. Between these tablets there aren't other differences. This is not a bad thing! Don't feel offended!Last edited by giouncino; 08 August 2014, 13:27.if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Maybe it has to do with poor programming of the app itself. I'm not sure.
Anyone else tested this app on any Pipo device?
How does it work on your Cube?

Better dont, and back to buisiness
High speed mhhhhh wat should I say.
Just for brouwsing you do not need it,and as you wrote that is the main thing you do with your tablet.
At work we have slower than slow internet for security reasons, the only thing is you can not play you tube or added news movie, the rest of internet brouwsing is perfect.
I my opionion the speed of brouwsing is more depending on the brouwser used.....the internet connection speed....the way the website you visit is build When loaded and it takes longer time a tablet with more speed has no effect on that.
If you start downloading stuff than we are facing other things and the role for the speed of the tablet is of more importance.
So if 4 times more speed is of big importance I have my doubts.
Cheers

With the m6pro wi-fi speed dropped much in some rooms in my house far from the router, with the cube doesn't.
These are really important differences.
Many users here are disappointed about 3G of m6pro, some of them switched to the cube and now they are really happy.
In my office we bought 17 pipo m6pro, as soon as my collegues saw my cube they are now selling their pipo tablets!
I can suggest you to advice one of your friends to buy the cube talk 9x to evaluate the differences between your tablet and the cube. I'm SURE that you will see some important differences.
I have had a pipo and now I own a cube, than I think I can do some TRUE comparisons.
Have you ever had a cube tablet with ipad air display????if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

I'm tired and don't have time to investigate it further.
