This happen once before but can't remember what I did to fix it. Haven't used the box since I bought it, was waiting for the update until I started messing with it again.

Also maybe try going into file manager - program directory - database and delete the addondb folder and reboot and see if that does anything for you

Naah it does not say available updates as well and my Auto updates are turned on.

Also, I did tried to delete Addondb file and restarted and still no luck. It appears i will have to re install firmware and addons again which is time consuming and i did not wanted to do that unless the new Linux ROM is out and hope it wont take too long.

        Hi,
Is this compatible with the latest M8N and the new remote?

        Thanks

Don't suppose anyone has taken a backup of the armada m8 linux with twrp? And fancies sharing it.

There is a beta Linux on the eny website for the em8. I tried to download it the other day but it took too long and then failed.

if anybody can get that I'd try it

The permission for the scripts in the current build were set to 775 but they need to be 755 to run the scripts when Network Manager starts a Network connection. To work around the time issue while the new build is in progress you need to do the following:

                      Open an ssh session
logon using the root username and password
                      Type the following commands:
                      # cd /etc/NetworkManager
                      # chmod 755 dispatcher.d
                      # cd /etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d
                      # chmod 755 01-network-script
                      # chmod 755 02-services-script
                      # exit

The time should now be synchronised with NTP after a reboot and after the power is removed.

@Stane thanks again for all your hard work

I cant seem to get his working at all.
Im using a macbook with terminal for ssh.
I connect to the M8 via the ip, but it asks me for a password, I try letmein, root but nothing works it just says

                      Permission denied (publickey,password).
                      Never mind, got it working.

Under apps or programs you will see WiFi manager
