Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a pop at corey or any developer, just hoping people be realistic , it's not secret corey is working with a company who manufacturer or sell boxes , as is stane. Releasing their software to the community would not be wise for business for these companies , stane has already said that corey has used his m8 buildroot to sort out the armada m8 which is now on the open market.
would be nice if it was available to Jo public , we live in hope.

I think stane is getting libfiles and source help from both ENY and Geekbuying for the Android version. Once one customer gets any OS with any M8 box he/she can install TWRP and save it and upload it to file hosting sites like mega.co.nz etc. etc. or seed it as a torrent. There is no way to stop it's spread once released.
I advise keeping current versions of his Linux & Android. Next versions might have lag and/or freezes in Android and/or xbmc, despite OR because of new libfiles/drivers/tweaks/debugs/enhancers in certain untested or even tested scenarios. Or they simply might not be as light or nippy. Chances are though, they will be better than his current r1 versions as I expect. He's a bit of a perfectionist.
Saving M8 would make his name. If I had to bet, I'd say check some night this weekend for either or both of his releases.

It's Been a Good Conversation
Indeed, Stane owes us nothing.
Notwithstanding my previous observations, I am still hopeful, however, that a person of his caliber will try to deliver on his conversation with us over the past few months. It was a good conversation from which he emerges as, not only a major talent, but a genuinely engaged ally.

Hi guys,

Both versions (Square box and S82) will get update this weekend or beginning of next week

I made small delay since it was holiday here in Croatia yesterday (lot of bbq lol, was not a good time for work ), but yes, I'll do releases this week.
8-12
I fixed date/time issues but had other stuff to finish so I did not release new linux version yet...Will release it soon.
8-17
Almost ready, today or tomorrow...

Guys, Amlogic finally released armhf libraries. Stay tuned, update will be asap...
9-5
I wrote on my Android firmware thread for square box that next week I will have all needed info related to kernel and uboot for old (current) and new pcb. Can't get it earlier 'cause Chinese are on holidays next few days. So.... next week Android and Linux.
9-11
I did not forget you guys. I'm testing linux and android firmwares for m8 boxes. Don't want to release semi-working fw.
9-12
Please, little more patience....
9-20
I have nothing to do with Armada project, but I know who does. Some personal education and other obligations delayed stuff a little..."
We're still here, Stane, still your great fans, and ever hopeful...

I grew up in London and spent 7 years at Oxford University. Best years of my life. Of course, the UK is a different place today- more crowded, more cosmopolitan, less inclined to see itself as the centre of the world. And with fewer decent pubs... Still a great place to find new friends and make your mark.
