    Thank you for your reply.

According to the instructions in order for the SD KitKat Fixer to work the T9 must be rooted. This is not something that I wanted to do as it appears to go wrong very easily.

    Is this the case.

If so, what a waste of good hardware to have such a bad o/s.

      Devil,

I think I am going to try to install your custom Rom now that I know this tablet will not get lollipop from Cube.
Does it fix the data partition space (original is only 2Gb)?

No. To partition must perform the procedure:

Your procedure is not clear to me.
Can you be more precise please?

In SPFT upload Stock Rom with Stock Recovery (The stock recovery is very important. The TWRP not work to do that)
          - Do you mean, download your file Stock recovery 1.08 full (without chinese apps)?
          - Then what do I do? Extract the rar into a folder?
          - Then Open SPFT and in the DOWNLOAD TAB leave the option by default for Download-agent and for Scatter-loading choose the scatter file from the folder with the extracted rar?

          - A bunch of stuff shows in the box of SPFT. and what option should I choose? Format all+Download, Firmware upgrade or Download only?
          - Do I plug the T9 to the computer and turn it on or leave it off before I press the DOWNLOAD button?

Download the new scatter file, copy the selected scatter file in the folder of stock rom, Open SPFT use the selected scatter and upload in "Firmware Upgrade"
          - This part I got it. But which scatter file should I use? You offer two options: New scatter files (4,6,8 Gb) for data enlargement and New scatter files wth \System 1,5Gb, \Cache 512Mb, \Data 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18 Gb
          - Which one should I choose and why?

Those are the two steps that I am confused with so I would appreciate a bit more explanation so I dont mess up with this procedure.
Btw thank you for your work I really appreciate it.

            Power off T9
Download Stock recovery 1.08 full (without chinese apps)
            Unrar
Download new scatter file and replace the original in Stock recovery 1.08 full (without chinese apps)
            open SPFT
open the new scatter file, select "Firmware Upgrade" and upload
connect the t9 in power off mode
            wait until SPFT Full download

After disconnect the T9 and start it in recovery mode
Make a Wipe/Factory reset (It is very very important to do this)
Restart the T9 and enjoy with new partition.

            Here all the details.

Tried to root the T9 following the instructions from Edius.

                  The procedure failed.

The device drivers did not install as they are incompatible with AMD64 processors.

                  Any suggestions please?

Something wrong. The drivers on the front page work perfectly in 64bit systems

For my Cube T9 i use search4roots for rooting. Because it's safe and easy to install.

With this method you can not:
1 - Have an efficient recovery
1 - Create a backup of the partition NVRAM
2 - Install the only custom rom for T9

Made some progress trying to root the T9.

Tried the files in this archive PDAnet_4150.rar and they installed.

I then Opened SP Flash Tools and followed these instructions:
                          5. Go to Scatter-Loading and browse for MT6752_Android_scatter.txt
                          6. All boxes must be unchecked, except recovery
                          7. Select Download only mode or Firmware Upgrade mode.
                          8. Click on Download.
                          9. With tablet powered off connect USB cable(do not use USB 3.0 port, only USB 2.0 ports are compatible) and you'll see progress bar working at the bottom of SP Flash Tool very fast ....at 100% you'll see a green check box showing Success.

Although the instructions are clear, the progress bar did not move. After five minutes, I cancelled the procedure.

                          Anyone know what went wrong?

The preloaded drivers are not installed.
Connect your T9 in power off to pc
Go to Control Panel - System - Device management
You might have a device Preloaded not installed
Install it manually and use this drivers

Something installed on my Cube T9. It is now just a brick!

There is a message at the bottom of the screen which reads "Now send the package you want to apply to the device with "adb sideload <filename>""

Can someone please explain how to regain control of this T9?

Hi, just want to share my experience.
Recently I have rooted it with TWRP, add ram expander, play xcom game and no problem.
One day its start to restart randomly.
As usual I flash the stock ROM with SPFT back to 1.08 with clean install and it still restarting.
Try to downgrade to 1.07 and still the same.
Try it with stock scatter, 6, 8 GB still no change.
                                The symptom is :
                                -random restart
                                -when restart it get bootlooping
-even its restarting in the TWRP recovery menu
-its restarting under stock recovery menu
-it will get in to the OS if I push the power button during the restart
Have been try to reflash the ROM several time but no luck.
One day when its restarting, accidentally I punch the up volume button and its get in to the recovery menu.
Combination of power button and up volume is a way to get into recovery menu.
Somehow this is maybe problem with the power button, I don't think its physically broken.
But it maybe randomly sending false signal telling the tablet to restart over and over again.
As I browse the net, found many cases of android problem with the power button.
Even famous brand like samsung, nexus, motorolla, got this cases.
For me its bad luck to have this problem, may be somehow I got the power button disturbed when carrying it in the bag.

There should be a way to remap these button or maybe flashing these button to work as default again.
Yesterday I restarted the tablet and do following:
                                - push the power button when restarting the tablet, you may do this repeatedly.
                                - when it is get in to the home screen keep punch the power button repeatedly
-do this and you will see power off and restart menu and screen blink at every punch
-do this several time constantly and keep the rhythm. I did it for one minute.
-in my last experiment I ended the punch with setting the display to never sleep
-I leave the tablet for 24 hours and its not restarting.

This morning I have to restart the cube because of screen glitches.
                                Bootlooping happened again.
I managed do the following :
                                - long press the power button until logo come out and then off again
                                - do this several time and I dont know how, it gave the same effect as the first method.

Now I got my cube on and try not to touch the power button
You guys might have another solution for this beast.

                                Thanks
