Hi Wasser!
I'm very disappointed with my R89. All versions prior Marshmallow including a stock are struggling of asynchronous video/audio playing HLS streams.
I had a hope that you could fix interlacing issue in your 4.0.x version but it did not happen
I'm sorry and I'm moving forward to Beelink GT1 box. After fixing SPMC by myself for that box I feel happy to see TV again without problems.
RIP, R89!

I already posted this on a thread a second ago, but you should really get a Beelink Mini MX\III S905 and flash the Minix Neo UT1 firmware - It'll probably do everything you want, failing that you can always run LibreElec on it.
Currently Using:
2 x Nvidia Shield TV | MiniMX III
Retired Devices:
MiniMX III-II | Mk808b Pro | Mk808b Plus | Raspberry Pi 1 + 2 | UBOX R89 | MK808 | MK808b | CS008 | X1 4K (rk3288_809) | CYX_809III | Ouya | CX-919 | S82 Plus | Tronstmart R68

Hls is built for ios not android and its been a constant nut crunch for most sdk. As well as web designers now that google set standards for api. Now that 80 percent android maybe ios crap will get curb kick by sites wanting customers.
Again if your expecting Hls to work on every device on the tv box buy a apple tv...... Browsers starting to notice loss of people using and google noticed as well that why they moved towards api standards.
Wasser rom solid and awsome work. We all thank him for his contiuned support of this device.
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

WYI. In Wasser's MM ROM v 4.0.10 "Android security patch level" is now from 1th October.
Also I prepared OCed resource.img with memory speed set to 690MHz.
Default memory frequency which is 456MHz in normal mode is to low for my liking but please notice that some devices can't operate even on that moderate OC.
If you want to enable memory performance mode then execute this command: "echo 'p' > /dev/video_state" as a root user. It will boost memory speed from 456MHz to 528MHz in default Wasser's ROM and it will set memory to 796MHz when using my modified "resource.img".
Edit: Strange thing but when I try to access power menu by holding "Power" key on my keyboard I immediately get soft restart. I will further check this problem tomorrow.Attached FilesLast edited by Gormar; 21 November 2016, 07:59.RK3288 2GB/16GB OC 1.9GHz at 1.2V RAM [email protected] Wasser's 3.0.11 firmware

I'm not sure if this is placebo effect but system seems to be more responsive (more GPU frequency operation points have that effect?). So far I only found one problem (described in previous post) which can be easely resolved with "quick reboot" app. Maybe it is connected to setting in Developer Options which is described as "Advanced reboot". And yes it is very advanced. I will test today. Thanks God for Wasser

The responsive, YES it is confirmed faster and more long lasting (without require to reboot) compare with the Lollipop
