I already have tried that one with USB Burn Tool. DDR error at 2% <~~ usually wrong firmware. What is the method that you recommend to use with sdcard or usb thumbstick?

OK, so I contacted the seller. While I was doing so, I noticed in the listing it says it has the S905 not the S905x like the rest of the 2/16 GB models. Weird. I think I got a cheap clone or something. I'm gonna look more into this. Once I get this one back up, I may have to send back if the standard firmware floating around doesn't work.

Okay. That's the problem. I asked Google and don't found a firmware for your 2/16 model. Just for the 1/8 version.

Yep, Im starting to think I got ahold of some old stock. Glad i have more than one, so I can make a nand backup and restore it to the bricked one. Just got to get a working twrp again. While I was going through the many firmwares that I have tried, I did get one that was a LOWPOWER error instead of the DDR error. I have to figure out which one that was, and I will try via SD instead of the burn tool.

Looks like you may have a clone as you are saying it is the 2/16 GB model. All Nexbox 2/16 GB models use the S905X SOC.

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!! Completed to 100%, Just confirmed by the packing box, has S905 - A53 in it. Definitely not the S905x like the rest. It still is a 2/16 GB model. Time to ship this MoFo back and pay the extra 5 bucks for the x model. Homie don't want no booty doo. This was the same FW that gave the lowpower error as before. I have set aside on my laptop. Upgraded to 2.0.8 and changed usb ports. Not sure which solved that error. Thanks guys! Glad to be back in business. Now I get to stay up working on a new build.

nice one, thanks. the known issues don't seem to be too much of a deal breaker - I don't have 4K or HDR or anything like that, so i might give it a try.

pinguy and statotec yes, this one worked. Not 100% though, had bugs. Give me a few days and I will re-up the fw, provide correct twrp, stock rom, and if I get time an 100% working img to use with burn tool or SD card.

Tried Kodi 17 and hate it .. there doesn't seem to be much customisation available on the default skin and the two skins i prefer, and that still work with 16, aren't supported any more either so most likely won't be updated either.

Hello guys exist any 7.95 builds for x96 or any guide to make repacking from older version? I tried to change system but shows a error about debugging started etc and then hangs. Also I tried to install a 7 version and then update and throws the same error.
