No, I downloaded the link from MEGA (x92 3G 171211.rar). I am currently running the version that you have just mentioned. You can also look at my screenshot. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

1) transfer only "q201-ota-root.zip" to sd card & rename the file to "update.zip". Mount/insert the sd card to box
2) reboot box to recovery mode (i am using Quick Reboot from playstore)
3) once in recovery mode do these:
- wipe data/factory reset
- apply update from EXT (select SD card & select "update.zip" file)
- wait for the update process to complete
- once completed, select "Reboot system now"
4) seat back, relax & enjoy the "hogwarts BGM boot animation".

Alternative kernels for X92

A list of changes compared to stock kernel - HERE
No reflashing required.
The kernel boots off either a USB stick or a SD card.
Copy the files for your model into the root of a stick/card, insert it into X92 and reboot with the button inside the AV jack pressed with a match.
Hold the button pressed for relatively long time (10-20 seconds). If your USB stick has an activity LED, you can release the match as soon as it starts flashing, indicating read.
If anything goes wrong, just remove the card/stick and reboot, and you get exactly your old Android without any changes.
If you like the new kernel and want to boot it without having to press the button in the AV jack, there's a instruction how.

I tried to update my 3/32GB X92 with Android 7 Stock Firmware. Update seemed to run OK, but now the box will allways boot up in recovery mode.
No matter what I do, it will allways boot right to recovery. What can I do to resolve this??
Thanx in advance!

Thanx, I tried that, but no use. I managed to solve the problem with a firmware image and Burn Card Maker, but every other firmware I tried besides 08052017 would brick my box and I had to reinstall everything from SD card. I have the 3/32GB box, but no other firmware worked. Can you tell me where to get the TWRP recovery? All the links on 4PDA are dead....
