That's ok...just offering input and wondering if I'm misunderstanding the settings/features.

            Heya,
Stan77, did you hook up HDMI and plug in power cord. Try waiting for 10 mins and see if it eventually boots-up. Retry, members mentioned 20 mins.
Just make sure t.v. does not power off while waiting. I suggest not switching away from the input you hooked your China box to and have nothing in usb ports..just in case.

            I have a similiar wonky China Box...SCv1 Firmware. Boot-up 1-2, 5-10 minutes...sometimes...not everytime.

Is that means every time if cold restart I have to wait for 10-15min to have this box booted up? That does not make sense. The origin firmware don't have this issue.

think theres a misunderstanding here , My first boot after doing the update I had a black screen. I let it sit for 10 min just in case then pulled the power reinserted it right away and it booted up fine . I have not had a problem since !!

It might only happen to me .

I had one prob with old firmware when ever I plugged in a Usb stick I lost video for a few seconds that does not happen now .

This is because of the mix of chips used... dunno why they did that!

My first reboot take about 5min..After cold restart again it will not boot till i have to switch on/off the plug few times and then it will get connected to the TV. WOnder is it rom issue or my box issue?

                        Heya,
Stan77, where did you buy yours? The quality control, well, it is out of control. Members could use a heads up, too bad we can't track original manufacture?

My GearBest Alfawise is mostly fine. Out of the three from Fasttech: one is mostly fine(slightly slower-Antutu)- 2nd has boot delay issues(slightly slower-Antutu) and the third had 2% error flash message and micro-sd method bricked it.

A wild guess is that some HDMI problems are power sequence/protocol related.
*My dead box, micro-sd card had to be checked for errors everytime it was inserted into laptop!*

Bought from Lazada online. The only problem i encounter is the boot up. Others are all working fine. Guess no choice to revert back to stock. Miss this snappy rom. Btw how to install TWRP in stock rom?

A question regarding one Apps, when i click on this App:

Nothing opens / happens, looks like something is missing / needs to be installed?

                            Please advise
