Do you know the google play services in here and tv gapps is the beta version "Google Play services (Android TV) 10.5.48 beta"

I was having problems with play store not updating so reverted to the main release version but the arm version crashes at boot.. wont work.. older arm64 version works fine but updates to latest arm version lol (still works though) but even then play store still wont auto update to 7.7.17

Also noticed that the s912 is 64bit but beelink look to have built 32bit OS? I'm confused :\

No, I don't. You say this isn't working with my latest ROM, but was it working in a previous release? Does it work with the stock OEM ROM?

It works for stock OEM ROM. Do you have the link for the previous release? I can load it up on my box and let you know the results.

I've posted the previous release (that was based on GT1_110M0) here. Let me know when you've got it so that I can pull it down.

Just completed the test with GT1_110M0_TVStock-20170319.img and confirmed it is working fine.

After further investigation, I found the problem was related to the Android System WebView. Apps are working fine with v57.0.2987.108 that comes with GT1_110M0_TVStock-20170319 rom. However, as soon as I updated the WebView to the latest version v58.0.3029.83, those apps failed on the rom. I don't experience the problem with Superceleron's SCV9A even it has the latest WebView installed. just FYI--

Its could be downloading an incompatible version as I have just noticed that with the DPI set at 240 a non android TV version of play services will be downloaded

When I set to 320 and factory reset it updates to the correct TV version. Which all start with 836- (arm) or 846-(arm64)

Try changing the DPI to 320 then factory rest see if it works then you will know if this is happening.

Or just check if there is a version of webview for ATV I'm not sure there is to be fair though

just checked the latest versions are beta versions this also could be why as the play services included in this ROM is also the beta version. I think its best to stick to release versions to be honest not sure why they put it in the opengapps package. And as far as I know if you have beta version installed you only get beta updates.

Check what version its updating to against these

If its a beta version replace it with the latest release version

Could also be because the other ROM is spoofed to be the mi box in buld.prop and some webview apps like Iplayer won't load the proper UI for TV unless its spoofed to be official ATV device which means the remote doesn't work.

It's not clear to me why OpenGApps is including beta releases of WebView, but I'll do an update over the weekend which I will ensure has the latest release version. Also, I've been meaning to update the build.prop to spoof the Xiaomi Mi Box, so that change will also be included. I won't be changing the DPI to 320, but you can all do that easily on your own by editing the build.prop.

I noticed they also have sys.display-size=3840x2160 in the build.prop, its been working fine for me with 4k and below

I also connect my bluetooth remote but when I dont use the remote 30 minutes, the remote is note responding and I need to reconnect the remote.

Any clues for me?

Last question, is the Dolphin emulator working on that rom?

doubt the hardware is good enough for Dolphin emulator it barley got 15fps on the sheild tv when i tried it

Probably not, but spoofing the Xiaomi Mi Box might help (which I'll do this weekend). It also may be an Android TV 7.1 feature, which we'll get eventually.

Nice, can't wait . I was wondering if its not difficult, could you add Status and Navigation bar to Android TV 7.1 when you update it (that is top and bottom bar). I guess recent menu is already available in android tv 7.1 so it would be perfect. thank ou
