what's the difference between Stock and TVStock firmware? which is the original stock firmware from beelink ?

TV stock is android tv. Stock is android for tablets.

Many of the premium video apps won't run without Widevine Level 1 support, which this box will never have. If you have a situation where the same app runs successfully on the OEM firmware but not on mine, please let me know and I'll investigate.

Hello,

First, thanks for files and tutorial.

Now, my problem is i'm missing something on the part "install the AP6255 UPDATE in TWRP after you flash the ROM to restore WiFi functionality."
I guess i have to install the file from adb or from sdcard in recovery mode, but when i start the box using the pin, i get stuck on nexus logo.

Anyone can help a beginner ?


Other question, is there a place to download official beelink android in case i would like to install it back ?

About TWRP, i can't seem to be able to make adb recognize the gt1 (i have flashed to android 6.0.1 and enabled usp debugging)

also the whole usr\srec folder is not needed on android tv as its for the version of google now for phone for offline usage
this should not be included in tv gapps package as its not even part of the nexus player or other atv devices

I'm working on brining ATV 7 to the Amlogic q20x reference boards (M8S Pro, KM8 P) now, but am blocked on TWRP. Have had some success with the Z28 (Rockchip RK3328), but resolution is only 720p and am hitting some Open GApps compatibility issues. At this point, the Beelink GT1 only has an early beta of Nougat which was pretty rough around the edges, and so I've been waiting for the official release.

Android O (ATV 8) is much better for Android TV its a nice refresh for the launcher and the way the home screen is handled. 7.0 never really interested me some areas i feel they went backwards
