Having some issues using HBO now on the Nexus AndroidTV. Keeps giving me error messages when I try to play movies/TV series (No error messages during documentaries and comedies)

    Uploaded firmware (20180310):

My TV box is m8s pro 2GB ddr4 16GB. (36$ from banggood from U.S. Warehouse).

Anyone messed around with HBO now?
Everything else works fine! (Except for a dead remote that came with the box ofc., but that's fine)

"I don't know which version of the PRO that you want. The newer versions of the box, come with the Leanback launcher, the older ones come with their own launcher. Either way, go to this link from the first post and pick which version you want. Download the ZIP file and DON'T unzip it, copy it to a microSD card or Pen Drive the put it into your box. Go to your Android and install a terminal emulator if you don't already have one installed. Open the terminal emulator and type "reboot update", that will boot into TWRP, select the ZIP file you have on your pen drive or microSD card and install. You now will boot into the version you chose......

Have you tried copying the *img* file onto a microSD card and using a terminal emulator and typing "reboot update"?

Calm young padauan, the experience is a beautiful virtue accompanies those who cheated and tried to correct their mistakes. As I said before, it is much easier to use your nootbook, insert your 2GB or 4GB memory card, run the SD Card Burn Maker program I've already sent you the link previously.

Then check all the options and then choose the correct file for your device I've sent you the link before, format to FAT32 without changing anything in the training options. When the formatting is complete, click close and let the process of burning the image on the MicroSD wait for completion.

After inserting the SD card into your device, remove the power / power cord. Using a pointed object other than a needle, press the reset button that is below the device in the same position as the blue LED. When you hear the click or notice you pressed the button on the power cord.

The screen will blink with an Android Green, then release the button and wait for the process to finish, never interrupt, do not touch, do not connect, if everything is right with your card, rom and bootloader, in a few minutes the process will end and you will see the Google logo after the animation.

No need to open to see this button. All Mecool M8S Pro (Plus / L / W) devices have. I'll show you in this image:

If you put the board inside the box and screw the bolts it will be much easier to find what you are looking for and solve your problems. Just turn the box and get a little hole.

Note: As soon as I've looked at your image I've already identified the small hole in your the board, but I do not think it's convenient for you to keep this board in your hand so it's easy to ruin something. or even get hurt.

Fred59120 there it is, but my recommendation is for do the procedure with the box closed.

Pay close attention to the firmware you are going to install. If you need help with this and I help you, I already sent you the links but I will not deny help to a forum partner. But you can also install the Vorke Z6 Stock firmware. Since you do not like the Android TV Interface, the Vorke firmware is much more beautiful and functional. If you want the firmware that I've tested before, just talk.
