Hi Magendanz and all others who responded to my post,
thanks a lot for the suggestions! I actually did try CentusPlay before, and am also using it as an alternative remote as in some games the Android TV Remote is not working properly.
Anyways in regards to Chromecast:
I was not 100% clear in the description what I wanted to achieve.
What I wanted to achieve is to tell my google assistant on my phone to play some music on my tv.
As simple as this if everything works with Chromecast built in..which does not work

But I have a solution!
I am using Tasker/autoremote/autoinput on my phone and on the TV box and now I can tell my google assistant to start my radio on my tv, and it actually works .
It I a bit more work to set it up correctly, but worth the effort
I can even talk to the Android TV remote and it will work directly on the TV box. Just had to sideload the google assistant...I did not yet integrate tasker with google assistant on the TV box as I am currently having a small issue with google assistant on the box:
As soon as I open the app, not via the mic which works fine, it asks me to update the google app. t opens the playstore and points me to the app. Unfortunately I cannot install it, also not via sideload as it is not for TV. And google assistant does not recognize that google for TV is installed...another small hiccup

Anyone an idea?
Also if wanted, I can describe a bit more how I did setup the tasker configuration mentioned above.

I was more asking for an idea to get Google assistant app working.
As said, I can use Google assistant but I cannot configure it as the Google app is apparently not up-to-date and when I try to install it, it tells me that it cannot be installed

Maybe use the NANO or STOCK firmwares (non ATV), because play store is working perfectly here, so updating the Google app should be no problem or the newest version via apkmirror.

Hi,
Currently not as important as is works the way I need it right now.
In regards to your question:
Neither the box , nor the remote have a mic.
I am using the Android TV remote app which transports the voice from my phone to the box. I am barely using the real remote due to this

Another thing that i realized is that the chrome for Android TV cannot be installed...at least not by me
For the Google app: tried also the apk from apkmirror but it keeps telling me that the package is corrupt or something similar.
Will try again and let you know the exact error.

Other than that I guess that the Android TV rom is just perfect as it is way easier to operate with the remote than the stock rom...

Chrome should be pre-installed on this ROM, but it's not built for Android TV and so shows only in the App Drawer.

Hello is there a fail safe guide to install libreelec on this device,problem booting from sdcard.
Tried the termila app but no go.

Hello Magendanz have you see my post there's a problem on google account on my box with your rom custom if i would like to add an other google account the application bug and that s message error the application is closed rouvrir l application in french and if i delete gooogle account that s similar apllication bug and message error the application closed rouvrir l application

There's the DDT remedy..."Don't do that!". ;-)

Seriously, I'm not in a position to fix OS-level bugs like this. I'd recommend a data wipe and entering your account info correctly the first time.

I would "burn" the LibreELEC to your microSD card again, and MAKE sure you are using the correct DTB.img. The correct device tree is necessary for your LibreELEC to boot....
