I don't get it, they're at $30.99 in banggood, that's the cheapest I've ever seen them.

Ah ok I get it now, it's different, I'm in europe so there's no warehouse to choose from, only chinese available and there yes it's the cheapest it has been, I believe.

my Mecool unit worked fine for 1 week with ATV ROM but, now started locking up, even on boot, freezes often (not always) on splash screen or Android dots

tried reflashing with USB BurnTool 2.08 with either M8S_PRO+-NMF26Q-20170815.182813.V0321 or M8S_PRO+-V0321_TVStock-20170825 BUT, on power up keeps freezing

Burn Tool shows OK, no errors

am I doing something wrong ? what else can I do ? have I got a bad unit...?

you might want to read the last few pages and see most of us prefer the stock rom over this one and spent hours getting back to stock

using this rom my box did nothing but freeze and have problems... it's working ok now back on the 815 stock firmware

Wasn't the stock ROM linked to in an earlier post?

Yes, I thought so, thanks. I guess my question is about you saying you spent hours getting it back to stock. Was the before the stock ROM was posted or while using that image?

I've read the whole thread but as I was still auditioning the modded ROM I wasn't too concerned about reverted back to stock but now since I've run into issues with it I'm considering putting it back to stock.

well at first we did'nt have the link to the 815 file
then flashing the file wasn't as easy as I thought, it actually took 4 tries for it to complete 100%

I ended up having to hook up the power adapter and the USB for it to complete

^ Thanks! I'm not there yet, but it's good to know it's an option. I'm also going to load the modded ROM using the USB method as I originally used the SD card method and maybe that is what is contributing to the box's occasionally buggy behavior.

Hi! First I want to say thank you so much for your hard work!! Great ROM.

I have a small problem...just flashed my second box with this ROM. First box works fine. After flashing the second, it just feezes after some 5-10 seconds. Both when i boot to Android and Librelec on sd card. I wanted to try to reflash, but i can never make it to the menus before it freezes or restarts. Can anyone give me a hint what to do now? :/

Didn't manage to do an sd card burn of the .img file, used ota upgrade, had a few missteps with some incompatible apps initially but once I figured that out, I must say this rom works perfectly, had no freezes at all or any other problems so far. Great job from Magendanz.

Just to follow up, other than a peculiar issue with one particular app I'm very happy with the work Magendanz has done as well, thanks!
