The build.prop setting "sys.display-size=3840x2160" is included, so you should be able to get YouTube to 4K resolutions. You might need to downgrade to the older version, though, as the new web wrapper has some distinct limitations. http://www.androidpolice.com/2017/08...rand-accounts/

Guest On build 1119 i've found some issues like it's impossilble to remove notifications neither one by one or all together, nav bar disappear and then has been impossible to make it appear again (both by toggle in settings or sliding mouse at the bottom). I've tried then build 1108 but bluetooth is not working. Thanks for your hard work anyway

So, you're saying you don't like the status bar autohide feature? (It's activated by sliding the mouse along the top edge, by the way. The navigation bar is along the bottom edge, and that's controlled by Settings->Display->Toggle Navigation Bar.)

The inability of the notifications to be dismissed is because Android TV uses that notification queue to fill out the recommendations at the top of the Android TV Launcher. Since the status bar is normally hidden in Android TV, you just don't see it.

I had others requesting that there be a setting to show the status bar, and this was my solution. We could just go back to hiding it all the time, though.

4k and 60fps is still working on mine with new YouTube app you just need to change build.prop to spoof xiaomi mi box

think changing this line alone activates it

Thanks, i know that on yours is working... I'm on yours now. I tried both, Is a difficult choice between your roms are both really incredible works, and android tv imho, is the best use we do of these small boxes.

Unfortunately, you have to root the box in order to edit the build prop.

The advantage of this rom, is that is easily rootable with magisk. Really easy and fast. So if you use this rom, root and edit build prop is a joke.

...and you don't even need to root the device to use the TWRP File Manager.

I tried everything, from settings to using a mouse to slide from the bottom. Maybe some app messed it up. And android stock settings (not android tv settings) in that moment didn't work anymore too.

Yes, some apps will force full screen mode, particularly on Android TV where that's expected to be the norm. I don't know what I can do about that other than disable the features entirely.

After OTA updating to this latest rom from the 1108 rom, my box is stuck at the nexus splash screen for about 15mins now, what must have gone wrong pls?

if you decompile systemUI you can easily change the config to TV (No notifications or statusbar)
Its something I had to do since using mecool framework/app.. I just use a standard remote so the adds weren't only annoying but impossible to remove without a mouse connected or even show the statusbar
