me too, i can't understand him well, maybe a chinese or a related asian, cause he switch misc with misk XD i think what he wanted to do is to flash a cwm recovery because he lost it when he tried to flash a rom, well this is just my guess xD im off to my problem now!

I have a T-R42 (my first android device)and would like to know if a cwm recovery is available for it and also I would like to get the stock firmware for it too if it is available some ware too.Thank you very much for your great work.

If I can got your stock recovery.img, I can do it, tomorrow I will explain a easy way to obtain a backup of recovery.img. The only prerequisite is to be root.

Try to Flash the cwm recovery.img and misc.img too, there is some problems in some lewy roms.

Do not pay attention to your paragraph 3, you have answered the question in paragraph 2.

I made a new k-r42 cwm recovery, I used for this one the stock rom from kr42 from july. If someone with this device can test it please report back if it works

Checked the recovery.img and misc.img. My TV Box not boot after applying recovery.img, to flash additionally misc.img does not help.
If I flash misc.img without recovery.img, when you first boot into Recovery for a short time android normal, with blue crystal (during scanning at startup recovery), then the crystal is replaced by a red triangle.
This is seen and on Stock Firmware and on Lewy20041 v.1.2.0 720P. A little something else to change into misc.img.

After applying misc.img on firmware Lewy20041 lost Root.

Did you all the steps? Renaming too?

1. Install from play store the free apps Terminal emulator (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=es)and busybox installer(https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....busybox&hl=es)
2. Open busybox installer, grant superuser permission,Use normal install (Not smart Install) then when it finish close the app.
3. Download http://www.freak-tab.de/leolas/cwm/term-install.zipfrom your stick, it must be downloaded in /sdcard/download/ (this is the default folder if you use the stock browser for download it.
4. Download your specific cwm zip from this thread and it need to be in /sdcard/download too.
5. Open Terminal emulator and write:

su 
cd /sdcard/Download 
unzip term-install.zip 
unzip theNameOfYourSpecificCwmRecovery.img.zip
mv theNameOfYourSpecificCwmRecovery.img cwm-recovery.img
sh cwm.sh

Replace theNameOfYourSpecificCwmRecovery for your specific cwm zip name, for example in imito qx1 it will be qx1-cwm-recovery
After write su you must grant superuser permission to terminal emulator.
