I had hope it will be working because both run without problem, but no act on remote controller, mouse usb, keyboard usb or air mouse

Ok but it works only for V2, I have I don“t know which one...

      new t-r42/k-r42 not supported

      Hi all,

as all of you know i was trying to make custom firmwares for new k-r42/t-r42 model in the past. But due to lacking of these hardwares it's not possible to provide an working firmware for these models.

      Sorry!

Can't say I'm surprised... been waiting for this announcement. Tough to develop when the manufacturer keeps changing the hardware, nevermind the crippled processor.

Thanks very much for your past work Wasser... v1.2.4 will serve my device well until I choose a replacement. Probably something with a trusted name behind it.

          Hey Wasser,
I got my device today and flashed 4 roms. i nearly dropt this thing out of the window but then i tried your KitKat rom and it's smooth as butter.
          I#m using a fake T-R42 (no S/N), i opened it and i'm pretty shure it's board 2.0 (is this the "new" T-R42?).

As I sayed, the rom works great. The only rom where xbmc plays 1080p seamlessly.
The only problem i found is Wifi and BT.
Some apps cause random crashes but it's more stable than my KitKat Gnex

How do you flash with RKandroidtool 1.3.7?

I have flashed my K-R42 with Lewy20041 rom and used RKbatchtool 1.7 and that was easy!

I downloaded this rom for a T-R42 which has board version 2.0 but I don't understand how
            RKandroidtool 1.3.7 works.
Is there a how to flash Wasser roms with the tool?

            many thanks
            Peter

Also pretty simple but required a bit more work. When you unzip Wasser rom you will have a folder called "rockdev" and another folder called the RKDevelopTool_v1.37 (tool is in this folder). Open up RDDevelopTool_v1.37 and double clicks on RKAndroidTool.exe, this will launch the tool interface.
1)First line - At the end of the line, click on the empty box under neath the "..." tab, this will allow you to browse to the correct file which is the "RK3188Loader(L)_V1.24.bin inside of the "rockdev" folder.
2)Second line - Click on the empty box at the end of the second line and browse to "parameter file which is also inside of the "rockdev" folder.
              3) The third line and the rest, just look at the name of the file (kernel, boot, recovery, system, backup), they all corresponded to the file name and they all located inside of the "image" folder. Just beware that for the kernel and the boot file you need to pick the right one for your device version (v1, v2 ...). For the original version T-R42, you should pick kernel file with the word old and use either boot.img or 720 or 1080. Any other version of T-R42 use either 720 or 1080 file with the word "new".
              Here is the example:
Original T-R42 and would like to use 720P kernel:
              Kernel=kernel-720p-t-r42-old.img
              Boot image=boot-720p.img

For anything newer than the original of T-R42 and would like to use 1080p kernel:
              Kernel= kernel-1080p-t-r42-new.img
              Boot image= boot-1080p.img
Hope this clear up all your wondering....

                Thank you!
                Was easier then I thought.:-)
                I have a T-R42 with board V2.0 so I assume it's the newer version?
The biggest problem I had with it was streaming from Youtube or any other website but with
this rom it seems to work realy well!:-)

Everything seems to work except for bluetooth, I can't turn it on? When I press ON, it
                goes directly to OFF again?

The same problem for me. I've just got my T-R42 from geekbuying, it's a 2.0 board. Everything went fine, I chose the 1080p_new kernel, wifi is OK, only the BT can't be switched on. I tried lewy's v2.0 firmware, the BT worked fine, but the wifi signal was very weak.

I tried it too, and BT was working fine, but wifi was very slow. Are you sure, that you have a T-R42 v2.0 ?

Are you using the WiFi or Ethernet?
