T-R42 - wasser firmware - JB Android 4.2.2

I think Wasser has given up on support for TR42. To many different boards. I hope Im wrong.

He mentioned the other day that support for B351 v2.0 will be in the 1.2.5 update. Fingers crossed

Hi Mr. wasser thank you very much for you work. I just recived my device yesterday t-r42 with the 2.0 board, right out of the box the wifi was messed up, sporadically dropping signal. I flashed your 1.2.4 ROM with the 720p-ut kernel and 720p boot, wifi is ok but Bluetooth keeps switching off immediately. Should I flash the 1080 kernel and boot? Whats the difference?

I have the same problem with bluetooth as Veliksam on a T-R42 with board B351_V2.0. Is there a possibilty for us to fix that?

My TV converts everything to 1080p. Would I get better performance out of my TR42 if I was to flash it with the 720p kernel and boot. A second question when Im on the home screen it fills my display out fully. When I watch video with XBMC I have 3 inch black bar at top and bottom. How do I get it t fil screen.

Just downloaded and tried. My B351 V2.0 finally works normally by 1.2.5. Thanks!
- Blue tooth works, which didn't under 1.2.4
- wifi works normally, finally could miracast by my LG G Pro(no any other firmwares could do it).
- 1080P videos played smoothly

However, in 1.2.4, ethernet mac adress was static, but now, it changes every reboot. Could it be set to static? thanks for your great job again.

it's my intension to remove the hack for setting static mac adress in 1.2.5 release. I finally found a solution for this issue.

You need a tool to flash your static mac adress. I will upload the tool soon.

i would like to find a firmware that fits with my board,
that is b351 V1.1 30/08/2013

I tried many and many roms, but no one has wifi working on my board
Only bluetooth works...

And now i have another problem...
i tried the Lewys rom for board 2.0...
flashed it with the RKBatchTool

Now my device stays for a long time on boot, then when it ends, it blocks, i am not able to interact with my air mouse, nor with the ir control

I can only go to the recovery menu, and choose some option...
but i have not a zip rom to do the update via 'update from external storage'
Do you have this zip? (also an old zip for k-r42 should go...)

the problem is that my pc does not more find the device, it tells that the device is unknown...
(and so i have no other way to update it)

just flashed, seems to work well on mine V2.0.
I have opened an MKV film and the MS file explorer player reproduce it quite well!
now I'll try to install an XBMC or MX player and try.

The wifi seems ok in these 10 minutes of work

Dear Wasser,
first of all, thanks for all the effort to deliver nice Firmwares.
My Device is a T-R42 V1.0 and I received it 2 months ago.
I went through all the 'fun'-stuff such as driver inconsistencies with WIN8,
had problems with an old WIN XP, freezed the device after a stock firmware update,
but finally re-activated it. Blutooth is a must have for me as my loudspeakers
are connected viy this. So a lot of firmwares were no option for me.
Now I found your Firmware/Kernel mix in Version 1.2.5 saying that all the things
I need, will work.
Hence I took the brave step to flash the device. Everything went fine.
'RUN' ended succesfully. I used the 1080p boot and kernel image.
Attaching the device back to the screen again it runs in loops.
A starting screen with colored animated bubbles starts to show (sometimes), freezes
and the device starts again.
Thats not what I wanted actually
So my question, is there a low level recovery mode on the board to put an old boot loader etc.
to the device so that I am able to flash it back to the old running version ?

Update 15:55

Sorry I made a mistake, my recovery button was broken. Probably I used it too often.
So I can reach the recovery and can flash again. But also the 720p does not work, or better has the same problems as the 1080p with this device.
Just the colored spots start to animate and then it freezes again.
One logical difference is there, the 720p switches the resolution and the
Screen shows the change from 1080 to 720p.
The recovery mode is reachable and is shown in 1080p.
Will keep you updated.
