    V1.2.4 on V1.0 runs

Yep, 1.2.4 runs on the device.
FullHD UI (restricted to ~1280 active UI sometimes - for example in google Play).
Runs smooth. Bluetooth works with my speakers. Running over Wired Ethernet.
    Will test more tonight.
    Thanks

first of all, thanks for all the effort to deliver nice Firmwares.
My Device is a T-R42 V1.0 and I received it 2 months ago.
I went through all the 'fun'-stuff such as driver inconsistencies with WIN8,
had problems with an old WIN XP, freezed the device after a stock firmware update,
but finally re-activated it. Blutooth is a must have for me as my loudspeakers
are connected viy this. So a lot of firmwares were no option for me.
Now I found your Firmware/Kernel mix in Version 1.2.5 saying that all the things
      I need, will work.
Hence I took the brave step to flash the device. Everything went fine.
'RUN' ended succesfully. I used the 1080p boot and kernel image.
Attaching the device back to the screen again it runs in loops.
A starting screen with colored animated bubbles starts to show (sometimes), freezes
      and the device starts again.
Thats not what I wanted actually
So my question, is there a low level recovery mode on the board to put an old boot loader etc.
to the device so that I am able to flash it back to the old running version ?

      --------------------------
      Update 15:55

Sorry I made a mistake, my recovery button was broken. Probably I used it too often.
So I can reach the recovery and can flash again. But also the 720p does not work, or better has the same problems as the 1080p with this device.
Just the colored spots start to animate and then it freezes again.
One logical difference is there, the 720p switches the resolution and the
Screen shows the change from 1080 to 720p.
The recovery mode is reachable and is shown in 1080p.
      Will keep you updated.
      which kernel have you flashed?

        reset button

        Hello,
        sorry for the newbie question,
i ask if please some experts can answer me...

when i flash some firmware and something goes wrong (e.g because the firmware was not right)
the reset button should work anyway?
i.e. the pc should recognize the device, indipendently from the firmware that is installed, so this is only a matter of windows drivers, usb cables, usb ports
or some firmware can put the device in a state that it is no more possible to access it from the pc?

        Thanks

it's possilble to install firmware per cwm-recovery. But i don't plan to provide such.
So you need pc to flash the firmware.

              Hi Wasser!
I flashed the Old Kernel Version 1080p first and then 'downgraded' to 720p
both in zour 1.2.5 package. Now I switched to 1.2.4 1080p.
Ah, by the way, is there a way to manuallz change
keyboard settings in the kernel before flashing? as you can see the German QWERTY is not
              really useful.

                Awesome

Your new 2.5 Version is working fantastic on my 2.0 Board. Super fast and fluent. Bluetooth, WiFi....everything perfect.

Great Work. The best Firmware for my T-R42!

1 Question: I want to make my 16GB SD Card working as internal memory.
Is there an easy possibility to realise that? I was editing the fstab script and it works. So my SD is now my Nand Memory, normally that will be fine but when i install a App or a Game its going to the internal Memory. What im doing wrong?

                Thanks for your Help!

                  Hi Makku,

just go to settings and then to "Language & input". Now you can change the Keyboard and Input Methods. Choose External Keyboard Helper as Default and then choose below the default settings External Keyboard Helper Demo --> Klick next to it the setting icon and press "Autodetect layout".

Hope its working for you too

                  Cheers

                          Hi DRMod!
Yes, I found this. But I think it would be good to have a correct keyboard layout inside the kernel / firmware already.
I find a french QWERTZ Layout, but a German QWERTY. Strange enough as both should have the same.
However, will live with this workaround, cause the Rest is awesome! Thanks to Wasser again.

                            V 1.25 t-r42 v1.1

                            Dear Wasser

First of all, thank you for your great work of firmware development.
My Device is a T-R42 V1.0 and I received it 4 months ago.
I use the version 1.2.4 and kernel old t-42 without problems.
I decided to try your latest version 1.2.5 with kernel t-42 and 1.25 old boot 1080p.
I have these problems and they reported him.
                            I turn on the device
And turns off and on in a loop and does not leave that state.

                            Thank you

                            Horacio

Good luck! Make sure to change cache to O in one of the Maintenance tools in xbmc. Follow tutorial and it will work

Am I right thinking version 1.2.5 has the xbmc pre installed from version 1.2.4? That is the best version of xbmc Ihave used. I can't find the apk anywhere. I use a titanium back up off your 1.2.4 version to run on my current setup.
