...someone knows why there is no screen/display option to change wallpaper (also animated)? Is it possible to change it with some app?

While on the main desktop, hold down left mouse button for a few seconds. You will now see at the bottom of the screen the icons to change Wallpaper, Wigets and Settings.

I am experimenting with this under 1.0.1
and after 30-60 minutes I notice a loss of lip sync

Does anyone else have this problem

i also got this issue.
its about 0,2 sec not sync.
its only in kitkat , in jellybean all was good.
u can fix the problem temporarely by set the soundoption inside the movie to +0,2 sec
then everything is ok.
i dont now how to set the audio to +0,2 sec by default.
maybe someone know a way to set this by default ??

at audio offset set: +0,2 sec -> then all must be fine

It would be great if you could add no "wake on mouse movement" and "mouse wheel zoom"

facepalm. on evere air mouse is disable button. i have a2 mouse and it is very usefull button, and i click it every time whem i turnoff minix.

I also have lip sync issues, only through HDMI though. My Hi-Fi amp through the 3.5mm jack is ON SYNC however, strange.

just to say I flashed a rom for a mini, on my full size X7
and it did not work.......

I believe they are different hardware

I installed 1.0.2 a day ago and there seems to be something wrong with audio sync, quick test with MX player+DTS pass-thru I had no issues but with Youtube, Netflix and Viaplay apps the audio seems to be out of sync (using HDMI, haven't tried other options).

Same here with lip sync. iview ABC app has problem . I found that jelly bean and xbmc 13 had same problem.

I changed my mute button on a2 to be the letter A. Very handy for xbmc. Also have 2.5sec + as default

Thanks arhim; I did confirm that the sdcard was mounted in Recovery; in fact Recovery Backup accessed the sdcard to create the backup directory (I checked later on ES Explorer) but it was unable to write the backup file. The sdcard is R/W enabled and has enough space for the backup. I used the same recovery rom and the same sdcard in Android 4.2 installations and the Backup function was ok, so I assumed some sort of incompatibility with wasser's 4.4.

ive found a way to fix the lipsyncissue ^^

"adjust display refresh.." set to "every time"
"pause during" set to "off"
"sync playback to display" activated and method like in the picture " drop/dupe"
let me know if it helps
on my side it helped 100% now i can watch my movies with 100% perfect sync
