      Erasing IDB Failed

Im trying to flash this version of Kitkat to my M6 Pro, but for some reason, I keep getting error "Erasing IDB Failed". I tried the suggestions from the userguide like, waiting long enough for the PC and device to connect and reconnecting the USB cable (use a different one) then try again.

Any other suggestions that I can try so that I can pass this issue?

You will see the change when you run antutu or CPU spy not in the kernel name in about tablet

Sent from Tapatalk on my m6pro running RR 1.8 KK, kernel low V2

            Very strange...
Install cpu spy. If you see the 1.6Ghz bar AND not the 1.7Ghz, you have not flashed the kernel correctly. You need to see the 1.7Ghz bar, to be sure that the kernel is correctly installed.
With that mod kernel you can reach almost 21000 points on antutu...

Hello, thank you very much for the RileyROM 1.8 - I have installed it on my PIPO and it is great. The only thing that I am looking for is to install Polish language in the dictionary of system keyboard. Can you please advise how to do it? Thanks and Regards.

let me advise to use ai.type keyboard or klawiatura MultiLing -the best in my opinion - both available in Play Store, hardware keyboard (eg. bluetooth)-> Polish hardware keyboard 2.0

Hello, thank for your answer but it seems that my post was misunderstood. I would like to set Polish as a default language for the AOSP Android keyboard. So as to have the Polish dictonary active while I, for example, write in the Intranet browser - the keyboard should propose Polish words and show where I made mistake in the Polish spelling. I do not mean any alternative keyboards. I already have two installed (SlideIT and SwiftKey) but this is not what I want. Currently, when English is set as a default languange for AOSP Android Keyboard, the keyboard proposes words and shows correct spelling - I would like to have the same option active for Polish language. Is it possible? Where to take from Polish language? Thanks and Regards

I change the default to English...because it's usually in Chinese. You just go into settings and change Language to Polish.

Before I go back to JB...

3G is quite extraordinary. Sometimes it is ok, works fine and speeds are (what I think with this device), nice. 3-6mbits.
However, device is often either "kicked out" of 3G to Edge/other mobile network or can't even find any network. Both these cases are seen on location, where same operator with mobile phone has almost full strenght 3G. Is the antenna on Pipo so awful, or is it just KitKat? I am using RR 1.8+ Claro+ Modified libril (or was it stock?). Mostly problems come indoors, outside can be nice 3G, indoors just E.
Would I win anything with going back to JB, which was a lot worse to me? This combo has been stable for a month already, and quite fast, so I just love it...

I am not sure I can do this in Riley's thread... He has put a lot of work on this and it won't be nice for me to point to other sites, will it now?

To each his own. My tablet runs perfectly on my ROM.

Its no secret that there are other ROMs available. Please, however, don't ask me to support or even compare another developer's work.
