although Riley was OK with it ...... i think that the post with Kasty rom shouldn't be posted here. A private message or an email would be more than enough. ........

one of the best results with my mod kernel!

          2 interesting things:
          1. Launcher- google experience launcher...
          Old known flash procedure...

Flash with Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.7, use Restore button.
sorry if it looked not fair to you, Riley. I just followed information started by other colleague here.

3G is quite extraordinary. Sometimes it is ok, works fine and speeds are (what I think with this device), nice. 3-6mbits.
However, device is often either "kicked out" of 3G to Edge/other mobile network or can't even find any network. Both these cases are seen on location, where same operator with mobile phone has almost full strenght 3G. Is the antenna on Pipo so awful, or is it just KitKat? I am using RR 1.8+ Claro+ Modified libril (or was it stock?). Mostly problems come indoors, outside can be nice 3G, indoors just E.
Would I win anything with going back to JB, which was a lot worse to me? This combo has been stable for a month already, and quite fast, so I just love it...
Did you try with stock kernel?
            same behaviour?

furthermore the stock libril could help you to maintain 3G connected (even if you lose deep sleep) and not to be "kicked out" as you said. Did you overwrite the RileyROM mod lib with original pipo one as I told you some weeks ago?

Rom runs perfectly and much better than last jellybean rom.
Very fast boot and all applications work without problems.
With stock kernel I get 18734 on Antutu.
              Its fine with me !

              Thank you Randy !

Yes, I used libril that you dag out. Now 3G, when it works, is ok. Somehow I just get really unstable feeling with this 3G setup, and I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks, Pipo as my only computer...
Stock kernel I didn't try yet, as my compilation is really good now. Need to give it a go. Now I have no freezes, minor lagging and no crashes, with stable 20400-20800 antutu (wifi on/off). So I'm really pleased in all other means.
I'll throw stock kernel in tomorrow. Thanks again!

                  Try Windows 7.
All my attempts to flash my device from my Windows 8.1 PC failed.

Hopefully. it works at Windows 7.

I'm using windows 8 and I'm not having any issue. Windows 8.1 is the only one that do not work properly for PIPO tablet.

I think that my mod kernels for some unknown reasons affects 3G functionalities...
At the moment I still don't understand why, unfortunately!

                          hi guys,

does anyone of you encounter a lot of Unfortunately Google Play Services has stopped error?
I keep on having some especially on my first couple of boots even after I have put in my google account.

                          Tnx

That can be EMC issue with Pipo tablet internal RF receiver. When you change with kernel CPU and DDR frequencies, also noise spectrum can increase on RF receiver frequencies.
It can decrease sensitivity on RF RX channels or even block some RX channels.
This should be taken account, when defining used frequencies of CPU and DDR , when internal 3G is active.

I don't remember the exact frequencies of 3G RX bands 900MHz and 2100 MHz. Channels and bands are depending on area and operator.

                              for m6pro 3g:

                              WCDMA/HSPA: 2100/900 Mhz, GSM/GPRS/EDGE:850/900/1800/1900

I set ram at 720 Mhz,
I think it's not a matter of frequency but a problem of CPU voltages that could affect 3G module power voltage in some way. What do you think about it?

CPU core voltage is not a noise issue for 3G module.

Coupling to 3G module can be through power supplying or signal or directly to antenna.

For example CPU frequency 1704 MHz cause more noise to 2100 MHz band than 1600 MHz CPU frequency.

Most critical is , if DDR or CPU frequency harmonic(1/2x,2x,3x,..) matches to RX frequency band.
