you need to flash the rom again going in masked mode.
There are 2 ways to go in masked mode.
The simpliest is:
connect the tablet with USB and open the Riley flasher (thick all the options, loader included)
keep pressed power button for more than 10 seconds (probably it is necessary to connect the tablet to the wall charger)
the flasher should detect the tablet in "masked mode", flash the ROM (DO NOT RELEASE THE POWER BUTTON UNTIL THE LOADER HAS BEEN FLASHED)
if this procedure doesn't work for you, you need to open the tablet and short-circuit two pins of the nand flash to allow ROM loading.

I did the exact same thing after having the flashing error you had. I couldn't get the tablet in to masked mode but I did get it working as described below. I have since managed to flash the kitkat rom fine so I am not sure what caused the initial error.
Another careless person here who bricked their tablet. I bricked mine by flashing back to JB without the loader ticked. I was worried I had done something worse as I was getting no response at all when I connected it in Windows even with the power button held. I realised that when I pressed the volume up button on the screen with the android on it's back with a red triangle I got a number of options. With the device connected to my pc and the flash tool open I chose wipe cache and then wipe data/factory reset. I then chose reset device now and the flash tool detected it. Not sure why that helped but I am up and running now so it may help someone else.

Something strange on my Pipo
I've installed on my Pipo M6 Pro WiFi with RR 1.8 KitKat the app Bussola - Smart Compass, the same I have on my I9100. Well, on samsung it's ok, south is were it must be but on Pipo north is were should be the south, it's reversed!
There's something wrong in Pipo's hardware?

Hello dear fellow RR 1.8 KK users
Could someone please verify the following bugs i am experiencing on the M6 pro:
1. MxPlayer : " can't Turn on H/W + codecs" it always reverts to software mode.
2. Kingsoft office : writer and notes crashes upon creating or opening documents with segmentation fault but the spreadsheet ans ppt are OK...
i Aldo have a M9 pro under KK but i don't have thèse issues .... Étrange..
I would greatly appréciate it thank you.

There is one question about apk installation. looks like no way to side load apk except from google store. anyway to fix that. Ofcause I already choose the section to trust any source.if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

this really dragged me down as option to hort-circuit two pins of the nand is something i would really like to bypass...
then, when i was on work today, i saw your post with steps to wipe cache and data by starting recovery mode and that gave me great hope that this steps will work for me too, but...
i successfully started android system recovery mode by (on dead android screen) holding power button and then pressing volume + button...
i wiped cache and data, and then selected reboot system now, but after system reboots it shows dead android lying on its back again and there is still no response in flash tool at all...
and then again, here i am dragged down again
