hello im a noob, i have install your room with the modification for 1 nand chip, and it works, but the root is not working, it ask me the binarys.
How can i root this 4.4??

I mixed the Roms too, I had the same problem. Look the last posts in the 1 nand ROM and check the files I have mixed. I copy my post of other thread.....

I have a 3G model, and location mode and 3G didnt work. For that I have mix that Rom with RileyRom 2.6.2. I have flash loader+boot.img+recovery.img from dnkn ROM and other files from riley's.
Location works great, 3g works great, but something strange happened, I have SuperSu but I dont have Root access. I have tried with Kingo app and with Tp-sarky-Vondroid and I havent success ....any ideas?

EDIT: Trying to reflash the mixed ROM I realize that in ERASE IDB 4096 only count to 4090 and write "current (6)"....I am confused.
I should try to mix the other files of the Roms?

EDIT AGAIN: Reflashing again I have flash loader+boot.img+recovery.img +SYSTEM from dnkn ROM and other files from riley's, and location works, SuperSU works but 3G signal dont...I surrender in this step😧

I've tryed a "USB" key broad and a "Bluetooth" and both work, also when you first turn it on, (From the time you push the button untill you get to swipe screen it takes "35 sec." in five different times. Home button under "device's" has two different "launchers" (launcher3 and google now launcher) both work, but on the launcher3 you are unable to remove the google search button, or at least i can not remove it...

That pblem with search box/velvet also makes me crazy.

On mfathers m9pro i couldisab google search on another 4.4 rom i am using i cannot disable, it is greyed out....


So on this rom youlso cannot disable?

Two NAND version

Hi,

Does 3G work on this ROM?

I believe we are working with wifi only firmware on this ROM...sorry.

So which rom should I use for the 3G version? any recomendations?

That answer will have to come from the users actually running the ROM's. I don't have an M9 to test.

When I mixed both Roms the first time(because I have 1nand tablet) I had 3g signal properly, but SU didn't work. If you have 2nand tablet, try Riley's ROM, I think you will have 3g

went back to stock after bricking it...

went back to stock but I forgot to erase nand first...

well the tablet wouldn't power on...

I fixed it without having to do the trick with shortcircuiting...
while having the tablet connected to my laptop i pushed the on button continuously, and suddenly I saw that the finless tool could see the tablet ... I left the button and the tool could see nothing...

so with the power button pressed all the time, I erased nand and then with the rk batch tool (while having the on button again pressed down all the time) I flashed the stock rom...

You should be good. You have two NAND chips, which makes it compatible with this ROM.

Opening is very easy...



But you can also use Android tool inside of rkdevelopment to read system info.....

When it shows cs0 and cs1 you have 2 nands....

BUT opening is fast and easy amd SAVE to know if 2 or 1

very smooth rom but i have a big problem as it cannot get any signal on maps, google earth etc as on settings i cannot turn on location
Can anyone help me i have read on the thead that others too had the same problem, but i have not spotted the solution.
