OK here is the updated 109K4 flashable ZIP format ROM.

1) I removed the assertion check at the front of the script so this will install on any S802 device. It will not check what version you have installed already. So you know an assertion check usually checks the device model and the version currently installed. Again this is removed now.

2) I format data in the script so if you do not have the factory_update_param.aml on sdcard (which does the wiping if you use it right) it will still wipe the device.

No other changes

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS AND PUT THIS ZIP ON SDCARD!

Unzip this download and you will have the package in a folder called 109k4_stock_rom_prerelease.
In it is the files needed and instructions explaining several ways in which to flash this ROM.

ROM -> Tronsmart S89/S89H & Beelink S82/S82H/M8 - 109K4 Stock ROM Pre-release (401 megs)


Note: I will wait until Oman says this is "official" or releases an "official" 109K4 ROM before I make a Finless 2.0 ROM from it. So please don't ask until then.

I can't upgrade FW by USB ,, and I don't have a FA32 SD card ,,

I upgrade an official FW before ,, but after that the USB method doesn't work anymore ,,

I use the burning tool in the link here and the FW ,, ( win 7 64bit ) .. I can't upgrade !

I am having sound dropout issues with the 108k4 firmware on XBMC (Omans latest) - video continues to play but sound just goes for about 15 seconds - happens on HD / SD streams via ethernet connection.

Yes can confrim same issue. Is partly solveable by shutdown Box completely and restart.
Is imho a handshake problem with my marantz AVR. Normally it occurs only if i switch on receiver bevore I started Tronsmart box. Don't expect much improvement with 109k4, but who knows, I'll try it.

Just wondering my friend got this box nd he wants me to help him..if any of this forums rom will work on it..stanes..omans..finless..do i have to open box to check pcb ??here is the pic..which rom works best..??thanks.. model S82B 8G

Finless roms work as well

does others have wirless troubles with 109 too? for me 108 worked far better (more buffering problems, also file copy speed is slower) ??

Not really related to your problem, but I was wondering how you move files over the network? I currently have 2 HDDs hooked up through the USB and manually disconnecting/reconnecting them every time is far from convenient.

And the SMB file sharing apps that I've seen all require root access.

Well this rom comes rooted, unless you are asking for another non rooted device. If those hdd's contain you media and you use XBMC then you can re-locate those drives somewhere else and use XBMC to add smb, nfs or whatever you use as new source, that won't require root i think.

Es file explorer doesn't require root access to access smb either. I've been using it with my tablet not routed and my nexus 4
