none of the flash browsers are good(firefox,dolphin) firefox crashes too often and dolphin doesn't go to all websites. Boat is pretty stable but flash is not working.

At some point people will have to accept the fact that Flash is no longer officially supported. Since there will never be true fixes ...

I am using UC Browser HD. It works very well (fast loading, flash working, user interface very lean and ergonomics)
This HD release is especilally built for tablets, but unfortunatly is reported as incompliant in the store and cannot be installed from there. But apk of all released are available in aptoide. I installed it from there.

Yeah im mainly using the stock browser as i think its a bit faster the the UC browswer, but sometimes the stock browser wont load certain pages so I have to use the UC browser, One problem i can find with this tablet is the dysfunctional web browsers.

It is not CM, it is called "UC Browser HD". I found it on aptoide. My felling is that it loads web pages much faster than the stock browser, and the tablets doesn't heat. I tried many other ones before this one.
Now I have set it as default, I will see with time if it is a good browser or not.

I think the stock is def faster, the sunspider score is lower which would confirm this. But I do like the browser. Its very realiable, it has never frozen or not loaded a webpage.

GPS hardware not working

Hi folks,
I run into a strange issue here.
I have 4 cube talk9x (U65GT) and i have install 900supersport's rooted 1.8V firmware and the 2 Lepi's patch extsdcardfix.zip and partition_6gGIG.zip for 6GB rom, two weeks ago. Today i noticed that hardware GPS is not working on any of those 4 tablets. I had never needed GPS all this time, so i do not know when GPS stopped working.... I tryied Google Map, Route66 and Sygic from play store, but no luck.
I have triple-check all the settings in the "location" and it should be working, but no joy.....
Any idea ? Anyone else with the same problem ?

I am in the same config as you. The GPS seemed to not work (no sat displayed in Sat config tools). I tried a lon gtime outdoor, and then it worked.

GPS Fix

1. Go to /data/misc/
2. Delete mtkgps.dat
3. Reboot
4. Using "Faster GPS" app, choose your region
5. This will update your gps.conf file in /system/etc and make backup
6. Turn on your gps and test.

GPS not working properly

Hi!

I've tried to find the /data/misc directory, but somehow it seems to be not there. I cannot find the MTKGPS file as well. However, GPS is still lacking big time.

l know it is a absolutely noob question, but I am a noob at this point How do I install the brightness patch with CWM? CWM is installes on my device.

BTW: I did the last ROM update of superuser900, just need to try a little bit. I did the custom ROM update in this hour.

This update.zip for screen brightness patch and chrome browser fix.
It work with original recovery of talk9x-non-root tablet.

Download and place the update.zip at sdcard(internalSD),then follow this.

So it does not work with a rooted tablet? Btw. can it not directly be installed from the CWM recovery?
