In Android 4.0+ you can buy apps on a different device with your same account and then install it on any device with that account, regardless of what the specifications are, or the apps' country restrictions. So what you do is go to play store and install droidmote server on a different phone/tablet with your account. Then on the UG802, go to play store, then "my apps" in the menu, and then swipe over to "all". Here you can install your droidmote server from play store onto your UG802

How can i install droidmote server from Google play? When I perform a search in my UG802 it only appears droidmote client, it seems droidmote server isn't compatible with this device.

For hiding the status bar. Get the app to hide it. Then to get it back install Button Savior APP. It will put a little transparent tab on the right of the screen when you click it you can access apps etc again and restore the status bar.

Knox, I will try your VNC server. Any tips for using it on this device?

Could someone give me some more d/l links the ones in the first post dont work constantly being told i need to login..

teros, logout. Then at the top of this website login and clikc the check box "keep me logged in". Then you will have no issues downloading.

We have to do this to stop BOTS and spammers.

Can someone tell me the name of the hide status bar APP please. I will see if I can get permission to include it in the next ROM. I already have button savior OK.

I use GMD Gestures to hide status bar. But there is also HideBar, that others use.

I uninstalled Adobe flash player because when I was trying to update, the installer told me I have to uninstall it previously in order to update the version. Well, now when I trying to install the last version from google play it seems it's not compatible with UG802.

Anybody has a working flash player .apk?

Flash Mode Failed

Hi All,

My UG802 just arrived, fresh form China. After checking it out I set about installing Finless' ROM. (you're marvellous, Bob!)

I started the PC flash way, following everything to the letter. The PC recognizes the UG802, the ROM Toolkit finds the UG802 rockchip, so when I click the " reboot to flash" button I get a message "Flash Mode Failed". What went wrong?

It's been awhile since I bothered hiding the toolbar, and that was on an archos unit.
I enjoy getting some notifications via the status bar.

Just out of curiosity have you found any way of fixing the true 1080p output issue?
