I'm also looking for other apps that do the same of Droidmote's work but i never found anything.
There apps that are similar but works only with a pc or a mac.

I'm wondering if there is an IOS app that can control Android mouse/keyboard but i don't think so.

did you ever try VNC ?

run ther server app on your UG802 -> VNC-Server
run the viewer on you Phone -> VNC-Viewer

wifi problem

1. I just got the ug802. The micro usb contact is intermitent. - dammit
2. wifi is off and I cannot turn it on. It the usb-pc connection is off. I reboot-it (hard way) 10E6 times . it just doesnot want to do something.

Any ideeas? pls.

last time my wifi was off and doesn't switch on i had to power off the device - restart didn't help.

There is a bug in the code I have not been able to find or fix yet. If at anytime you turn on USB storage, it will shut off WiFi and you wont be able to turn it back on without powering off the device and back on again.

I have a feeling this is some kind of shared BUSS line or something and maybe a hardware issue.

With Finless 1.4 ROM I use Droidmote, although it is very laggy. Sometimes I use wireless mouse, and sometimes the airmouse. I am getting used to the airmouse, but I agree it is pretty bad. Especially when you sit a bit further. The keyboard is not that responisive.

I am still investogating how to play games like X-plane or driving games or emulators. I have ordered a usb game controller. Not that I wan tto game, I am just curriouse and want to see what can you do with this little guy .

Droidmote client with my tablet SCH-i815 is not laggy at all much more preferable in use than on my HTC thunderbolt. But I think that is 3.0.2 version of the client versus 3.0.5. I like 3.0.2 much better.


BTW does anyone have the UG802 in their play store devices twice? I have it once from running stock and once from running 1.4. Interesting

Also have you confirmed 1080p is actually 1080p in this ROM. I haven't run antutu yet to check...

Every time you flash a RK ROM it creates a new IMEI signature. Now whats wierd is sometimes Gplay picks up on this and sometimes it does not. If you saw how many devices I have inmy GPlay list you would roll over

Titanium backup will backup your ID and restore it. It even warns you when restoring that your ID has changed and if you want to resotre the old one.

I did power off the device, nothing changed. Is it possible that because of shaky micro usb and many powering down (intermitent contact) that wifi is dammaged? .
I did also update (easy way) with the 9/03/2012 version.
I reset-it as factory default many times
Now i will try wired connection.
There is some place the pin-out for usb and RJ-45?

Yea i restored the imei once i got tibu installed but apparently it logged it. Had that message several times flashing on other devices but never got phantoms of the device in play store.

I use DroidMote with galaxy s I , galaxy s III and asus tf101 is not lag at all. but when i use ug802 i see same lag. i understand that this happen because the drivers of wifi network or the wifi network have many problems and disconnections. I sold out the ug802 and i will buy another android stick with better wifi.

but I can not install drivers
I follow the steps perfectly

if I choose the driver win 7 64bit writes to me that the driver is already updated

I managed to get the 1.4
but I saw that there is a problem with wifi
where the stock was connected without any problems
now no longer connects. I put the word weak signal

Try to also open the aluminium cover that protect the antenna.

Don't cut it off the antenna just open it.
